Surprisingly good labna

An interesting, laterally thinking, cheese maker with great goats cheese and tasty herbed labna which is superb on dry roasted potatoes and in mixed salads.

I live in the area, and this is the one place I go to when I am having guests for dinner, or if I need a gift to take to give to someone else. Their 'labna' is top notch, not to mention their other goat's cheese. Top stuff.

The cheese was so good we ended up buying most of them to have again. Staff was lovely and helped with tasters. Definitely worth a visit! You Hey

Very disappointing - looking forward to comparing with our local french cheeses - guy serving was rude and grumpy -no tasting offered -poor selection of cheeses -purchased a goats cheese which we tasted that evening - poor quality.

We stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon. We had a group of four, with maximum six other people in the shop at the time. The young girl who served us was very knowledgable and friendly and we very much enjoyed the cheese tasting and purchases. The older lady however came across quite rude and not friendly. Such a shame... More

It was a VERY hot day and the whilst the cheese is always incredible and the staff are very knowledgeable, the manner in which we were dealt with on this particular visit was a little rough. Service needs work but the quality of the product is always impressive.

About 10 minutes away from Hunter Valley Gardens, we decided to visit the less commercialised cheese tasting. Pleasantly surprised that they offered free tastings. We asked to try all the items and there was no questions asked. We were given toothpick samples of each item and loved each one. No pressure to buy but couldn't resist the Brie and goats... More

This place is basically the reason i bring my esky to the Hunter. One of the last stops before heading home and never disappointing. The samples always generous and makes the decision on what to bring home harder.Bought plenty to get me through until the next trip

Numerous people advised us to stop in here. We were able to sample the full range of cheeses though I felt it was a little rushed considering there were only 3 customers in the store at the time. However we were able to purchase the cheeses we wanted in small quantities which was pleasing.

Making a pleasant break from wine tasting - this place offers cheese tasting. A great range of cheese but specialising in fetta, chevre and labne.
