My boyfriend and I had the most incredible experience at the Wine House. We booked the Icon Wine Journey and it far exceeded our expectations. It is the most unique and creative wine tasting experience we've ever had. For the Icon Wine Journey you're not limited by what you can taste, you can try any of the wines available to taste. This experience is the best value for money in the region, as you can taste heritage and vintage wines and develop a true appreciation for the wines.
The experience was so enjoyable and memorable because of the staff. Adam was so lovely, very funny and has expert knowledge in wines, winemakers, the region and history. Tonia was an absolute standout, she truly elevated our experience. She was friendly, knowledgable, attentive and engaged with us on a personal level. It felt like having a wine tasting with a close friend. We ended up spending nearly 3 hours there as we just didn't want the fun to end.
Because of this experience and the fantastic staff, we bought 12 bottles of the most delicious and well crafted wines and became wine club members. The Wine House club membership offer is one of a kind in this region, think of it like the Qantas Rewards Program.
If you're visiting the Hunter Valley, this is an absolute must see and do. Cannot recommend this place and experience enough. You'll be thinking about it for a while after.

One of Pokolbin’s best kept secrets!
Awesome variety of wines from the valleys small winemakers. Amazing setting, staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable.
If you are looking for something a little different from your standard one label cellar door, then put these guys on your must do list.

This was ideal for us as you got to taste a variety of wines from a number of local wineries. Able to taste 8 wines across red, white, rose, dessert & tawny port.
Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and made the experience very good for my wife who is not a great wine drinker, but enjoyed the dessert wines.

Wine House has a great range of quality wines from small and boutique makers all in the one location. Adam was super knowledgeable about all the wines we tasted, and very generous in pouring us a broad selection so we could try wines to suit both us. Of course we bought more than we intended to but the wines were all so good we couldn't resist. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the wine and platter. The platter had a lovely variety of items to share and was very good value. The peaceful setting overlooking a lake added to the experience. The young man who served us was extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough to make the experience a positive one.

We booked the 16 wine self-guided tour and tasting on RedBaloon. Neil served as our wine expert for the experience and we could not have asked for a better person in this regard, as he was both incredibly passionate about the wine and very knowledgeable. The wine selection on offer was also amazing, so much so that we bought several bottles of ones we had tried. The tasting platter put together by Tonia was superb when paired with the wine and really made a lasting impression with the selection of cheeses.

We were recommended this winery by another we visited. Although it is in a lovely location we found our host to be obnoxious and obviously not liking females.
A few times he mentioned women had no idea about wines. After asking us what wines we liked. He then gave us a taste testing one of which was a chardonnay. When we all said we didnt like the taste he said there you go and showed us it was a chardonnay. Unfortunately it was not a nice chardonnay. We had already purchased delicious one from another winery.
I wont be bringing friends and family back to this winery.

Wine House Hunter Valley is simply a MUST when visiting this beautiful region. The wine tasting experience was very enjoyable in Lisa’s capable hands. The setting tranquil, food delectable and wines exquisite!

After four wonderful days tasting delicious wines in the Hunter time was not on our side to go to all the cellar doors, so a visit to the Wine House solved the problem. A bubbly welcoming by Adam and Lisa made us feel very relaxed, followed by some excellent drops and great chit chatter on wines and winemakers. A great afternoon and time and taste begins the criteria, we couldn’t afford to go elsewhere. Tip, Next return to the HV, visit the Wine House First. Cheers🍷
