Two Fat Blokes Gourmet Tours provide our guests with a quality food and wine education and experience. We operate two hours north of Sydney, Australia in the Hunter Valley which is Australia's oldest wine region. Two Fat Blokes run both half and full day tours for groups of up to 14 people. For larger groups we offer a 1 hour International Cheese and Wine pairing experience. Our guides are knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about showcasing the best of the Hunter Valley. Operating since 2008, Two Fat Blokes are one of the longest running tour companies in the Hunter Valley. In 2018 alone we shared our passion and knowledge with 18,000 guests from all over the world.

We had an amazing day visiting 4 wineries and one brewery. All the food and wine was amazing. Jules was very animated and informative. Less could be said about the cellar door hosts for Hunter's Dream, First Creek. The service unfortunately fell short for us at theses wineries which effected our decision to not purchase anything from there. However, ending on a positive note, the Two Fat Blokes wines and food was the best of the day! We will definitely be going back

Really enjoyed the tour, great tour guide, fun, went to some lovely boutique wineries which were fantastic and wonderful service at them all! Lots of wine and cheese included!
Easy booking, good communication etc
My only issue was that we booked the half day tour, which finished at 2. However the guide had another tour booked so we had to finish at 1, which meant we were completely rushed through the last venue wine and cheese and didn’t get to enjoy it.

Excellent tour , best in hunter. Tour guide Dave made it the perfect trip he was so accommodating , and brought us to all the best spots. He even brought us to some of the local wildlife. The two fat blokes vineyard was the perfect place to end with generous pours and great vibes. Great day out and if you manage to get Dave you’re onto a winner

We enjoyed it immensely, Jules our driver was a gem and made it easy to get to know the others. Such great conversations and an intro to 3 of hunter Valleys winery’s. What more could one ask for?! Jules even showed us a kangaroo spot where a whole bunch of them were. Thanks to Jules and our great company on the bus as well!

We had a brilliant time on the winery tour. The wine and cheese pairing was excellent, and we met some wonderful people. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone, and I'd go again if I'm ever back in the area.

Loved this tour. Very well organised. Our tour guide Julie was really great
There was a good variety in the places we stopped and the length of time at each stop was just right.
The grazing box for lunch was awesome.

Best part of the tour was the first stop at the 2 Fat Blokes - great cheese pairing with excellent wines with Andy a great guide.
The next 2 stops were pretty boring, seated in a cold room tasting wine with no nibbles. Andy disappeared for the rest of the tour,
Tour is only 3 hours 20 minutes not 4 hours long.

Hi, has anyone done the Uncork The Hunter tour? Being a fairly expensive tour, I’m wondering if if it’s value for money with only a picnic box for lunch and no mention of a glass of wine to accompany. Everything else sounds good.

Hi Ann, the picnic box lunch is huge with plenty leftover to take home. You can check it out on the website and there has been more added to it since the original photos were taken!
There's definitely a glass of wine available with lunch, I'll make sure the team fix that up.

Hi, they do pick up and return people to their accommodation. I am not sure how far out they do the pick up, so it is best to call them to ask for your specific accommodation.

This included all the wine we drank, over 2bottles each!
Breakfast, lunch and cheeses.
Pick up and dropped off at our accommodation, as well as the best guide!
Worth ever cent.
