A "MUST - VISIT" when in the Hunter Valley.
The customer service we received here was second to none.The kitchen was closed when we visited yesterday so TP went out of her way to help us make a selection of meats and cheeses to take home and prepare our own snacks. The wonderful service she provided, as well as the delicious food, inspired us to return today and make further purchases. We were served today by Shelby and her service was just as helpful as that provided by TP yesterday. On top of the great service, the cheeses, salami, olives and butter we purchased were absolutely amazing. We found our experience here was one of the highlights of our trip to Hunter Valley. We highly recommend a visit to Hunter Belle to anyone visiting HV.

What a great cheesy afternoon
My hubby and I were staying at the Hunter valley to celebrate his birthday and we decided to give the Hunter belle a visit. Oh what an amazing experience we both had. Huns and had a 5 star treatment with a welcome desert, beautifully chilled glass of white wine and to end it with a sentimental birthday gift of stubby holder. Now with the high cheese experience itself.. top notch truly and I’m sure so many agree. They were very generous with the platter presentation and everything was so fresh and so colorful to the point where my husband had to ask me twice if I booked it for 2 or 4 instead. Cheese selection were amazing and oh that blue cream cheese yumy yumy yumy. To the beautiful amazing young lady who made the experience and the day extra special, Thank you so much and I hope all your days are just as beautiful as your soul. Genuinely recommend that everyone should made a stop and book for the high cheese experience, you will never be disappointed and make sure you end your visit with some fresh gelato

Great cheese, fudge and ice cream
Great place to buy cheese, fudge and gelato. We were welcomed by a very friendly assistant who set up a $5 cheese tasting platter for two of us to share. Unfortunately her colleague was not quite so cheerful. We bought cheese, some interesting flavoured fudge (bubble gum, key lime pie, sherbet, white chocolate/pistachio/nougat) and some gelato (almond & fig and bubblegum). All very tasty. Worth a visit.

Terrible experience

We pre-booked a cheese and beer tasting at $35 a head so we were expecting something more than 4 cans of beer in a tub and 4 water crackers with a piece of cheese plonked on top. We could have purchased the beer for $8.50 each and a premium cheese tasting only costs $5 so why charge so much? It certainly wasn’t for the service. The waitress was nice but had no clue what was going on. She just read the info from the tasting notes and commented that she was surprised how little cheese there was compared to what you get with the wine pairing. We were left to our own devices and no one came to check how things were. Definitely will not be returning and do not recommend.

Hi Guys. I’m sorry you were disappointed in your experience. Our Beer & Cheese experience is very popular & we (& many others think it’s great value) 4 cans of beer & 4 large pieces of our handmade cheese to share. Did you take a picture of the cheeses you were served? It sounds like a mistake may have been made & you were given a tasting platter???? Sure you can buy a can of beer & a tasting platter but the cheese sizes are much smaller Please check out the differences by the photos on trip advisor As for the service that’s very disappointing to hear & if you can let me know what day it was I can check out who was serving you & make sure they receive appropriate review of their training Please send me an email (which would have been nicer & we’ll do what we can to sort it out for you. Great range of cheeses, and some other lovely products such as aioli and infused oils made on site. The cafe menu is very limited.

Great cheese experience!

Hunter Belle is great for a drinker and non-drinker experience to pair wine and cheese or to just eat cheese and crackers! Great assortment of items in shop of cheeses, fudge, ice cream and gifts. We couldn’t leave without getting our favourite cheeses - Ash, Briebelle and Caramelised onion and thyme cheddar.

A lovely find without the crowds

A quick stop for a coffee and we discovered a cheese room and gift shop. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

We came back later in the afternoon to buy some cheese. The Black Magic Brie is heavenly!

Picnic on the grass

Staff were friendly and had plenty of time for a chat. They made a cute picnic basket with cheese, biscuits, salami, olives, fudge and sparkling water. It was cute. We sat out on the front lawn and had our picnic. There were a few mosquitoes and ants which weren’t comfortable but not their fault. However I probably wouldn’t pay $90 again for it. I also asked for baked Camembert but they couldn’t do it. It wasn’t busy as we went in the morning.
A nice little experience but probably not somewhere I’d be recommending.

A must visit.

Last Thursday had the pleasure of having lunch here with my sister Bernadette, her husband, daughter, granddaughter and my husband.
I could not fault anything, from the service, the food, the establishment and the cheese shop.
Absolutely beautiful lunch, the cheese platter was perfect and my accompanying red Shiraz couldn’t have been a better choice.
Before leaving we bought few goodies from the shop and of course the delicious Gelato.
My only regret is I forgot to go to the tasting room for a sample of wine or two.
Thankyou Denise and ladies for your excellent service and friendliness.

Highly recommend this cheese store

Highly recommended this stop for any fan of cheese. The manager was fantastic, generous with the cheese tasting and warm and welcoming. I found it very hard to choose my purchases as the selection is extensive, but settled on the Triple Cream Brie and the Caramelized Onion & Thyme Cheddar. As you can see I've already tucked in, as they are as irresistible as they are delicious!

In love with this cheese

The cranberry and pistachio cheddar is the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. The triple Brie was a very close second!
