Fantastic cellar door experience! Amazing service, so warm and friendly. The muscat is the best muscat I’ve ever tasted. Be sure to include this cellar door when visiting the hunter.

An awful, unwelcoming and rude experience at Constable Estate Winery. From the minute we walked through the door we were greeted by a larger lady who was incredibly rude and unfriendly. After we asked to be seated outside in a nice manner we were quickly shut down with no consideration. She advised all tables outside were booked. However, the entire time no one came through the doors and there was no effort to help us with our request. The entire experience from then was completely unpleasant as she was rude not only to myself and my group but all those around her, even our tour driver. She was giving horrible looks to several people making me and my girlfriends very uncomfortable and wanting to leave as soon as possible. Wines were also not great. There are plenty of great wineries in the Hunter, this is not one of them. Take it off your list and visit the others.

We wondered where our 'allaroudthevines' tour was taking us when we reached the end of the road, but we were certainly not disappointed. Sue was a wonderful host and very knowledgeable about her wines. Next time we will make sure we have enough time to do the walk, look at the statues and go to the lookout - as well as buy more delicious wines of course!

We are locals but recent members of Constable and couldn't be happier. Super friendly cellar door, great selection of well-priced wines and superb gardens and lookout to explore. Don't miss this one!

Had a lovely wine tasting experience with our host Howard. He had such a fun, positive attitude which really impacted the experience. Definitely recommend visiting this location on your next wine tour. Delicious wine too.

A good range of wines..from quality low prices to the older quality more expensive. Lovely tasting verandah. A focus on the good HV wine varieties. Nice gardens to wander. Sue very switched on. One of the better door options. Great view from Haalidays look out...bitumen drive...

Visited Constable Estate for a wine tasting on a recommendation and were very pleased. We were met with courteous personalised service, at a leisurely pace and tasted some great wines at reasonable prices. we joined the club we enjoyed it so much.
