To be honest, I was a bit skeptical, thinking it would be an average ride. The reason I booked was because I need something for my daughter to do. I'm not a big fan of these 'gadget' thing and even more so for my wife who is the least adventurous person you can meet. Boom! I was wrong! We all enjoyed it VERY MUCH! The ride was chill since you get to cruise around the beautiful landscape Hunter Valley has to offer, which, one will never get around to if you are on foot (it's a 5.5 km ride!), but at the same time it gives you just the right amount of excitement to steer the vehicle, ride through the bumps and uphills and downhills. The Segway was so easy to control, you literally become part of it (or it becomes part of you) once you step on it. You also get to stop at different spots to take photos and learn about the region. All in all, it totally exceeds my expectation and I recommend everyone to give it a go.

I'm a 63yo female & had my first ever Segway experience last Saturday in the Hunter. A lovely group of 4 being led by a kind, informative young man with passion for Segways & the Hunter Valley. Good value for money & would definitely recommend this 'treat' as a gift for someone that can stay standing for a little more than an hour.

I’ve wanted to jump on a Segway since I first saw them at the 2000 Sydney olympics and it did not disappoint.
30min tour is just enough time to learn to ride and to have bit of fun. Tour guide [I think her name was Steph, if not the lady with the long black hair.. this shout out is to you] made us feel safe and relaxed while being very entertaining at the same time.
Must do for those non-drinkers visiting the Hunter Valley or at least do it before you start drinking haha!

We had a group of four first timers on a one hour tour tour last weekend and while it was a sunny day, the recent rains made the tracks quite muddy. I enjoyed the terrain challenges and the landscape, animals and lookout views were beautiful.
The Segway Tours Team were friendly, helpful and attentive the whole way through our tour though a specific shout out must go to James for assisting one of our friends through some serious nerves . He was truly exceptional and patient with her and, being the instigator of us doing this experience, I am thankful she still enjoyed herself.

Did 2 rides on Easter Sunday, and after 35 Segway rides all over Australia I was very impressed with tour leader Jack, a young man who takes his role seriously enough to make the experience a memorable one for all participants. Very informative, but also attentive to all riders and does his best to make it a whole load of fun. Naomi did a great job to demonstrate to the riders (nearly all first timers) how to ride a Segway, and when Jack led each group they had all the necessary confidence to enjoy the hour long tours. His sense of humour takes away any hesitation first timers may have of their ability and ensures that they have a memorable experience. Even though still a young man, there are many who could learn from his style.

We had the immense pleasure of going on a 1hr Segway tour at Hunter Valley Resort Polkobin. From the moment we arrived at the meeting point. Michael our tour operator was an absolute delight and made us so cordially welcome. We had been on segways before but in the group there was others that hadn’t. He was so patient and thorough in all his instruction. Very soon we were off to explore the property. So much fun. Michael also was extremely informative of sites that we came across and imparted interesting history. I cannot praise Michael high enough he made the tour an absolute delight and one we would highly recommend to everyone.

We had a great time doing this as a family . Would definitely recommend, Sam our guide was great,he explained everything carefully and thoroughly which made you feel at ease and relaxed immediately. Kids loved it they even got a lesson from Sam about the grapes on the different vines. My son has now put a sedgway on his Xmas list .😂😂

Segways are great fun to ride & easy to learn. Our guide was excellent giving both group instructions & individual coaching & support. The track is a beautiful mix of vineyard, grassland & bush with just the right mix of cruising and bush tracks.

Sunday 1st May did 2 Hunter Wetlands tours with Adam (owner) through a very interesting terrain of amazing wetlands in the suburbs of Newcastle and not all that far from the CBD. I'm amazed that Novocastrians generally know nothing of this hidden little gem. The rides went right past and up close to many native water birds including black swans and their signets that are used to humans, and through a very interesting terrain of bush tracks that are a whole lot better than the boring terrain of some others. After 37 Segway rides all over Australia I feel more than qualified to say that when it comes to tour leaders they don't come any more professional than Adam. I'm very impressed with the way he runs his business and the tours are an exceptional experience with a lot of fun. Keep up the excellent work because this Segwayholic will definitely be back.

Having only seen segways on TV, I wasn't sure if myself or my wife would be able to ride one. After a quick lesson from the guide all eight riders took off for the trail ride for an hour and everyone loved it.
The segways were very easy to use and I would highly recommend the tour.
