Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Called in to taste and buy a wine for lunch. Tasted two whites (and only 1 person tasting) then bought a bottle. We’re still charged the $5 tasting fee, making our bottle a very expensive $33 - nice wine but at this price way over other local wines. Obviously wanting to make a quick buck at the expense of return custom. Goodbye Heritage wines for us!

We visited the winery today and was astounded at the rudeness of what I presume was the manager of the business.
The sign on the gate said the cellar door was open from today. we drove up and followed the signs to the cellar door. We walked through the open door and there were two people serving behind the bar area who ignored us. As I turned to pick up a business card a person appeared and said to us very curtly "the cellar door isn't open today". at which point she started pushing me back towards the door by my elbow. I said to her, "that's fine, you don't need to push me out". at that point she has realised what she had done and said to us" there are another 43 wineries open, you can come back to us tomorrow". She said you can go to one of them, at which point she closed the door on us.
A bit stunned by all of this, we left, offended and despondent at what we thought was going to be a good experience given the amazing landscape outside.
We are members of a number of wineries around NSW and have never, ever been treated in this way.
Ok, maybe the Cellar door was closed, but it would be opportune to put some signage up at the gate or at least the door, or at the very least have someone who will treat potential customers in a respectful manner. Not a great reflection of the business, needless to say we have a sour taste in our mouth from this winery.

Fantastic line up of cool climate aged /younger Rieslings. A very informative tasting given by Sue. A large range of dessert wines - all delicious & well priced. A selection of older reds also available. Worth a visit.

A warm welcome by Sue who was amazing with her knowledge of the many beautiful .wines on offer and the region in general. Having visited many cellar doors , found this was definatly onof the better ones. Excellent service, great wines, not over priced and some beautiful aged rieslings. Worth a visit.

A warm friendly welcome upon arrival and the attentive service did not stop. Although not accustomed to cold climate wines we quickly became educated and rapidly developed an appreciation. Elegant, sophisticated, many varietals to choose from and great value for money (pinot amazing). The view from the cellar door over the vineyard is beautiful. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had maps and guides for our stay in Orange. Highly recommended!

I like to write truthful reviews but do feel bad when I really don't like anything about the wine, so cant write anything positive. Didn't enjoy the cheaper wines or the more expensive wines over $50 at the tasting. But glad I tried as everyone has different taste but we will not be going back there.

We weren't really acknowledged when we arrived. It took a while to be noticed. The lady doing the tastings was not very personable, however she was knowlegable about the area and the wine. There were alot of wines to taste. Tastings cost $5 and that did not go towards any purchases like at many other wineries or wine tastings. Due to how many you could try, you definately got $5 worth. If the staff were a little more friendly it would have been a nicer visit. The jam however is amazing!
