It was a perfect wine tour for our party of four. The wineries were perfectly selected with great views. Our driver and guide Sharon was amazing she was knowledgeable and accomodating. We were not hurried and enjoyed each winery. Thanks for a great memory. I would highly recommend doing this whilst in Orange.

We're so glad you enjoyed your Wine Trail and the fabulous views. Its lovely that you were able to relax and enjoy each winery, knowing you had a designated driver. Sharon is knowledgeable and amazing at what she does. Glad you collected some great memories along the way. Thank you for recommending us. We were picked up by our friendly host, Denise, and taken to 3 wineries in the Orange region. Denise provided us with useful information about each winery and also told us about the areas we were driving through.
Each winery offered a different tasting experience, culminating in a food and wine match at the last winery of the day. A totally enjoyable and worthwhile experience!

I upgraded to a private tour when I was the only one to make an afternoon booking. It was a terrific decision. The wineries were chosen based on my grape preference. My guide Sharon was extremely knowledgeable about the history, economy and agriculture of the area and the background she gave me allowed me to ask somewhat intelligent questions at the cellar doors.
The wineries we visited were chosen based on my partialities and my vintner hosts were happy to skew the standard tasting to the whites I prefer. I had nearly an hour one-on-one with winemakers at two of the vineyards, plus a “back room” tour of one winery which really helped me understand both the art and science of the process and the investment required. The final tasting was in a larger cellar door but my host (not a winemaker) let me try the entire range of the vineyard’s white wines in two flights so I was able to compare and contrast styles and vintages.
The pace of the day and the tasting was was great. I never felt that I was tasting too fast or too much.
At the end of the day Sharon drove me home via a route with beautiful outlooks pointing out galahs (my favorites) in the fields and even a spooning kangaroo couple lounging beneath the vines.
An absolutely fabulous afternoon and highly recommended.

This was a Christmas gift and, as locals, Nicole did a great job in organising a really enjoyable afternoon for us. Sharon was a delightful guide, giving us just enough Millthorpe history along with visits to tastings of both Tamburlaine and ChaLou wines. Our hosts for each of the tastings were knowledgeable, interesting & contributed to our enjoyment of the afternoon. A delicious tasting platter was provided at Tamburlaine wines. We certainly had. 5 star afternoon, thanks to Nicole & Sharon.

Nicole was fantastic. For our half day tour of Orange she chose wonderful small wineries that suited our taste prefectly. She was friendly, knowledgeable and was super flexible when the tastings went overtime. She even helped carry our wine.
The extra expense to go on a tour rather than drive ourselves around was definitely worth it. No need to worry about how much we could drink and the only decision we needed to make was how much wine to buy.
I would definitely go on another tour with Country Food Trails.

Nicole was a great host and shared with us a slice of Orange’s history and some amazing recommendations for food. Her passion for her town and the region made us excited to explore the region more!
We ended our tour at the community garden learning about bush Tucker with Gerald, which was also fabulous - we loved chatting and learning and spending with people who are so passionate about their town, their food and their regional culture.

Our half day tour in October with Country Food Trails was a breath of fresh air. Having visited several wine regions - always booking on to a tour, it was a more interesting afternoon with a small friendly group, and some local history on top of the winery info.
Nicole was a great host and guide with a wide knowledge of Orange, and a special talent for sharing that conversationally with the group - not just a reeled off script between winery stops.
She clearly has great relationships with some less frequented cellar doors, all with exceptional wines and a little more time for us.
Having the tasting fees and a charcuterie plate included in the cost was a bonus.
Nicole was a great host and guide with a wide knowledge of Orange, and a special talent for sharing that conversationally with the group - not just a reeled off script between winery stops.

Just spent one of the best afternoons in a long while.Was picked up from our hotel by Sharon and visited three wineries within the Orange locality,could not have asked for a better host,her knowledge of the local area was second to none,her personality,friendliness,accomodating nature made our afternoon so enjoyable I didn’t want it to end,that was only the start of it,we then visited three wineries and were attended to by three delightful ladies,especially Tansy.
If you’re looking for a great way to spend an afternoon or morning can strongly recommend this tour and if possible will try and get back to Orange for another tour.
