Thoroughly enjoyed the group historical walk through Orange. A great way to learn about a place from a pleasant, well informed guide in Nicole! She was professional and engaging! Loved learning about indigenous foods from native plants in the community garden!

We had a great time with Nicole, she knows her subject, so interesting that you don’t want it to end. 3 hours passed so fast, we should have booked an entire day trip. Highly recommended

An excellent tour. You learn the history of Orange, are introduced to indigenous bush tucker (gardening and cooking), admire the town’s architecture and taste local wines from the region. Nicole, your guide, is lovely and knowledgeable and truly has a passion for her hometown of Orange.

The much anticipated day finally arrived! I was in Orange for Food Week. This event stood out for me when I was doing research for events - there were a variety of tours offered by the company, all sounding interesting. I went for the Tasting Trail & it did nor disappoint. Fortunate to have Nicole with her passion & expertise. She was also very helpful when I was planning my visit with suggestions on making my Orange experience memorable. I simply loved meeting Gerald at Comm Garden - very knowledgeable & fun guy who baked beautiful macadamia nut & wattle seed biscuits plus damper with bush relish served with lemon myrtle tea. Some left over & we were invited to take some for later. The bush relish, lemon myrtle marmalade, wattle seed & saltbush made great gifts for family & friends. It was great having Nicole share the local history and we finished the tour at Ferment - tasting a selection from boutique wineries and sampling lunch consisting of deli meats like venison with dips, cheeses & Racine bread. During my stay, I tried to visit a few of the eateries Nicole had mentioned and will be baking Gerald's biscuits very soon to wow my friends! Many thanks to you wonderful folks. The saffron tour is enticing so hope to be back soon!!

Nicole is a local with a background in tourism and a passion for her home town. We combined the city walk with the visit to Millthorpe making a full day of it. We got full and prompt responses to our initial -and follow up- emails. Nicole greeted us warmly as she picked us up from our hotel. The morning was shared with two other couples but we had her all to ourselves for the afternoon. She knows her stuff, and she loves her region and she couldn’ have been a more helpful guide to food, wine, culture or history.
