Glamping.
We went to Orange to go Glamping and enjoyed all of it.
Orange itself is worth about 7 pages of review but I will just say we had a fantastic time everywhere we went.
Nashdale Wines has the Glamping tents right next to the Cellar door in a little private area and they were perfect and private.
Great tents with all the facilities and comfort of a hotel but outside in the vines. Great little kitchen with all the bits you need and quality appliances. Bathroom good with big shower etc etc and extravagant soaps, shower gel etc etc.
White sheets on a big bed and a BBQ and area outside to relax and watch the bunnies frolic in the starlight.
10 minutes from town so easy to get around and see the sites.
Enjoyed ourselves and want to go again as soon as we can.

What a way to start Orange. Nick and Simon thank you!!! We were on a little getaway for our honeymoon and thrilled we stopped here. Their wines are beautiful and not something you see everyday. Beautiful surrounds of the vines and their dog Milo doing the rounds. Nashdale Lane defiantly set the bar very high. Do yourself a favour and make sure your drop in and do a tasting.

Wonderful wine tasting experience with beautiful view of the vineyard. We were seated on bar stools by the window overlooking the stunning vineyard. We did the $10 tasting which is non refundable and got a taster of their newer wines. Good service (we didn’t feel rushed), lovely views & tasty wines - we ended up purchasing 6 bottles here. Recommend worth a stop.

With the cellar door located amongst their vines, the setting is lovely. Tasting was $10 for a standard line up or $20 for a premium one. The wine was great - a particular highlight the Pinot Gris. Staff were excellent - Simon was friendly and informative.

The glamping tents are well appointed and spacious. Great size and in a tranquil location. We had four seasons during our stay and it coped with them all. On a balmy warm evening it is lovely to sit outside and watch the sheep randomly move around, during rain you get the hypnotic sound on the canvas roof. When it gets cold the fireplace heats the space well. We grabbed provisions nearby and used the Weber bbq both nights. The cellar door is only 25m away and we had an enjoyable tasting experience there as well. We worth it.

The Nashdale Lane tasting team were attentive, professional, knowledgeable and kind in their treatment of us during tasting. In depth knowledge of their own wines as well as the region and an unbridled passion for winemaking makes Nashdale a stand out. Great discount for club members and creativity makes the experience well worth the travel.

Wow! Winery camping, vineyard glamping - this is simply perfect. A super-cool, sophisticated, understated tent. Proper bathroom, four-poster bed, brilliantly-equipped kitchen, outdoor deck and bbq, and all so-stylish and lacking nothing. Even a wood-burning stove for the cooler months (when we return!). Right next to the vines, peace and solitude for the glorious evening sunset. And, of course, thirty metres from the Nashdale Lane cellar door - we enjoyed their pinot, chardonnay and rose - just wonderful. And Tanya and Nick are delightful hosts who have thought of everything before you arrive. We had two nights, a wonderful experience. Highly, highly recommended.

Hello, I am sorry you left disappointed but if I may respectfully clarify a few things. A wine tasting by its very nature is about showcasing & exploring different wines and winemaking styles - as prescribed by the winery/ cellar door. The basic wine tasting you booked is $10 pp. The exact tasting menu is automatically emailed in advance to the person that made the booking. We are totally transparent in sharing exactly what guests get to taste as part of the $10 tasting. If the group organiser did not read the booking confirmation we send or the menu information was not shared amongst your group I am sorry for you but as owners we go to great lengths to make it clear & easy . We are also happy to cancel & refund any booking (if contacted in advance) if a guest raises concerns over the tasting menu. Finally, we offer an upgraded wine tasting which is discussed on the day and covers a broader red and white wine tasting for $20 pp (an additional $10 only). I can only assume that your group (as a collective) opted not to do this as that is always a great option for red lovers. As I said we go over and above to be clear and upfront in what you get for a $10 tasting with us but I am sorry if you felt we somehow did not meet your expectations. If you wish to discuss further directly I am more than happy to at hello@nashdalelane.com. All the best

The setting is fantastic and the wines enjoyable. Unfortunately the service and attitude of the lone staff member that served us today was average.
Of the 3 wineries visited today this was the 1 cellar door experience that was disappointing . All 6 members of our group felt the same and as a result there was a reluctance to purchase.
Such a shame and really highlighted the difference that service and a welcoming attitude makes to the overall experience.

Hi Keentotravel, We pride ourselves on not only the high quality of our award winning wines but on the customer service provided by our staff at cellar door. I would welcome you to email me directly so that I can gain a more full understanding of the situation and how/ why the staff member may have not met our generally very high standards. We take customer service extremely seriously. You can email hello@nashdalelne.com Many thanks

While we are all still adjusting to living with Covid-19 and online bookings and restrictions apply with all cellar doors nowadays.
We allowed an hour as suggested but 1 person performing a tasting to 4 groups total 12 + people at a 1pm time slot isn’t a good thing on a weekend!
Sadly we had to cut our tasting short and make our way to our next tasting.
This was probably not the best tasting experience we had during our weekend in Orange.
But we did purchase wine!
