Great fun and informative

We bought 3 passes for children ages 16, 14 and 12. All 3 children loved the event. They were taught some aspects of navigation and flight procedure. They chose their destination and included differences such as thunderstorm landings and night landings. Definitely great fun

Great experience to share with grandson

Always been a flight enthusiast myself however the simulator training is best shared with an 8 year old Grandson where you can be witness to and enjoy his fascination.
Once he realised there would not be 250 people behind him in the simulator he was totally relaxed and followed the instructor like a professional. Grandads just have to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Learn more than just what is in front of you.

Had a wonderful experience today, flying from Kathmandu to Paro, then new Hong Kong airport to the old. (so glad they built the new one!!!) But it's also the little things that I learnt today that I can keep in the memory banks. Did you know that once the plane hits the runway - the breaks are automatic, its not the pilot pushing on a pedal, and that the ABS system you have in your car originated in aeroplanes. Along with a host of other trivia bits learnt on today's flight with Jet Flight Simulator Newcastle. Also glad there was not any passengers in the back of the plane..... I think I would have made them sick with my lack of flying skills. Great experience.

Took our eleven Yr old who is flight crazy last Sunday. He had an hour. The whole experience for him was awesome. We wanted a decent level of instruction to make it realistic and the instruction was excellent perfect balance between fun and serious instruction. Even had macca’s at Charles de gaul!!! Thanks again

Not worth money
May 2018 • Solo
Must admit, had been looking forward to doing this. My lady paid for an hour as a Xmas present. The cockpit is authentic but the actual scenery was a joke. Time to spend some money and upgrade the software. As for the instructor he might as well been flying the plane, constant comments, too high ,too low, turn more. I was more worried about his comments than enjoying the Sim. Heard that the one in Sydney runs in 4k, go there...

Hi Thanks for your feed back. The quality of the scenery is i the eye of the beholder and what it depends on what you are after in the experience but we are in the process of upgrading scenery so stay tuned. If you visit our website you can watch the video of our simulator in action which is of high quality. We have professional pilots use our sim all the time as they rate it as just as good as the multi million dollar simulators. In regards to the pilot his job is to instruct on flying the plane as if you are flying a real plane as any instructor would. I will pass on the feedback to see what he could have adjusted with his instructing to make your experience a better one. Thanks for taking the time to give us your feed back. A

Don't bother

Family bought me a 2 hour flight as a present. The facilities are pretty ordinary - it's simulator in a room in a derelict building. When you arrive, no one welcomes you, you find yourself in a small waiting room wondering what to do next.

The group in front of me had to reschedule due to technical problems. I was brought in and told to sit in the cockpit. My 'training' was basic instructions around the main control, that's all. Personable trainer.

We were soon taking off from SFO, with the instructor scolding me for over controlling, even though he hadn't explained that at all to me. We went through a few flying scenarios where I was pretty much on my own but thanks to gaming experience completed the goals.

When we tried to land in Honolulu, the instructor was scholing me for not controlling enough. We went back and forth with him contradicting himself on over controlling and under controlling but never really explained it. He used a lot of flight terms that made no sense to me.

When we tried to go to Hong Kong, the whole machine crashed - in the technology sense. He made many calls unsuccessfully and tried rebooting the systems which all failed. As I am in IT, I could see on the screen what was failing. When the operator called his boss, I took the phone and explained the issue and why it could not be fixed right away. The guy on the phone, who was the owner, dismissed me.

They said they had to shutdown the system and offered me another 30 mins session to cover my remaining unused time - neglecting the fact that they had spent 15+ minutes rebooting and trying to fix their systems (including me on the phone).

It's not worth my effort to try to claim my "30 mins".

Avoid at all costs - this is someone who has bought some hardware, rented a crap room and has no other idea.

By the way, they say 3 people can join in the experience and watch the game. That means sitting on uncomfortable stools at the back of the crap room where they can't see anything.

Hi Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We have a sign in our waiting room that says “please be seated our pilot will be with you shortly.” I am not sure what else we could have the sign say to make it more informative. We are a little shocked at your response as we have been operating for over 3 years and this is the first response we have ever had like this. We where unaware you felt so disappointed on the day as from what we could tell you where really enjoying the experience. Clearly we did not meet your needs which we apologise for that. We hope you find what you are looking for in similar experiences all though We would love to have you back to complete your session. Please call head office when you are ready and we can get you booked in.

We took out the south pylon of the bridge out
Apr. 2018 • Friends
Booked this at Xmas for a friend. A 30 minute sampler. You get to take 3 people with you. We first flew out of Hong Kong and then landed through the buildings at the old airport. This was great. Then we took off from Sydney at night to fly under the bridge. And crashed into it. A few buildings and a yatch. Well at least we get to tell the story. Really great fun. The cockpit is to scale. And the pilot retired last year from flying. You chose your airport and time and conditions. Highly recommended.
