If you are looking for good quality fresh food, then the Newcastle City Farmers Market is a must to visit....the fruit & vegetables are very good quality...however..if you want the pick of the crop be there when the gates open...there are plenty of food vans...More

This is a great way to spend a couple of hours wandering around maybe eating good food or buying good foods , really enjoyed it & great that it is so close to the railway station Thanks

We enjoyed our morning at the market.We bought some fresh fruit and vegetables and ended up having lunch there as well.There was a wide selection of food,snacks and drinks.My 3 year old especially enjoyed the local entertainment.

Great variety of foods, all very very fresh, unfortunately it is extremely crowded and you do have to get there extremely early, and parking a bit of a problem

Well set out Farmers market with a good variety of fresh food outlets and best of all, not overrun with dodgy alternative product stalls. Quality offerings in the enclosed shed add something extra. Plenty of parking @ $2 per car

Haven't been to the markets for quite a while and was really disappointed. Not too much there and only a the quality stall. I think generally better produce and cheaper prices at the supermarkets. Ok if you want same same breakfast from the food stalls/trucks.More

It is situated in the Newcastle Showground most weekends off Griffith Road, Broadmeadow.
