I enjoy walking the entire length of the breakwall, and it's also fun to ascend to the lighthouse when open. Amazing views!

This is a must do when in Newcastle. Take a walk out the lighthouse in the morning and watch the sun come up. There is always plenty to look at out there from the ocean life to the locals having an quick surf before work.

We went in late august and to our delight people were pointing out a whale ! Just awesome! And to top it off there is a free stroll through... More

A wonderful experience to see the lighthouse in all its splendor. The walk to the lighthouse is a scenic one and a definite one I'd suggest.

Great walk to the Light House along the breakwater but the actual Lighthouse is of limits. Please of space along the breakwater for plenty of people with bikes, scooters and dogs. Great fun.

Great free outing for couples, kids, or anyone for that matter. Enjoyable walk up to the lighthouse, and then the opportunity to take in the amazing views on offer. There are also many educational historical documents and pictures to take in whilst browsing the grounds

A lovely stroll down to Nobby's lighthouse and jetty. Great at any part of the day but exceptionally beautiful at sunset. Here, you can watch the big ships come and go along with the tug boats. A "must do" for at least one visit.

Take a beautiful stroll to the end of the breakwater, or join the joggers getting fresh air and exercise, with the most amazing views of the Pacific Ocean, steeped in Newcastle's history surrounded by beautiful beaches.
