In summer this place gets crowded with early morning swimmers doing laps but they finish by about 9am. The showers are outside (cold) or in the changeroom (mix of warm and cold, so test first). The date for the next clean of the pool is...More

An excellent experience, I have been to the pool many times. Making it a must stop on runs along the foreshore, it has recently been restored and improved, paths and seating. If visiting Newcastle you must come and enjoy the area, great food and coffee...More

Amazing views from Merewether Baths. 2 pools, one deeper and one kiddie pool with sandy bottom. With good amenities and cafes close by, this is place to go for a swim in Newcastle!

Awesome venue for a swim on a hot day. Baths are regularly cleaned and there is plenty of room to sit by the waters edge. Access ramps make it getting in and out for elderly very easy

This is an awesome outdoor experience, and it's free. So good to watch the waves breaking over the rocks behind the pool, and it is cleaned weekly as it is filled from the ocean. There is a great paddling pool for toddlers too.

This is a great place to visit if you down to the beach and you want to chill out in the bath area for a safe way to keep the kids safe

Nothing beats a early morning swim with the sun coming up. Very relaxing. Its also good for a family outing with young children there are a few cafes along the walk way to get a coffee, lunch or if you like dinner.

Beautiful swims at anytime of the day to do laps or just to leisurely float around with friends! Even if the the surf is large, you can still feel like you are having a great swim at the beach :)

What a great place for families to hang out on a lazy sunday, or any day for that matter. Since the refurb, the baths are clean, and spacious enough to even do some laps if you are so inclined!!.
