The cathedral and its grounds, host a number of significant historical features which hark back to the convict past and early settlement era. It is well worth a look. The cathedral is an icon of the Newcastle City landscape.

Happened upon this Church by chance while the organ player was practicing. Sat down and enjoyed the beautiful music. Just lucky I guess!

Came about this church by accident and was impressed by the size and the beautiful arte facts housed in the church. The very impressive sculpture of the last supper in the church made it worthwhile

We attended the Sunday service just one week before Easter and we were on holiday in Stockton. I joined the holy communion service here. People were friendly and welcoming. I was touched by the friendly faces I met there.

This Cathedral has a wondrous history, and that's largely due to people like my Great, Great, Great Grand Uncle, James Hannell, who often had his run-ins with Bishop Tyrrell. Being a forthright and, I believe, vociferous gentleman, James would let his views on things be...More
