Located in the small village of Tenambit (not far from Morpeth), Donarch Fine Chocolate first opened to the public in mid 2016. Since then, this remarkable locally owned and family operated business has become somewhat of an institution. Community minded with a focus on premium quality and perfection, this multi-award winning chocolate has become one of the key foundations of our story and beautifully showcases the European techniques, passion and persistence of a truly remarkable chocolatier.

We went on a wine tour with ihop. As part of the tour we stopped at Tullochs winery for a wine and CHOCOLATE tasting. It was the best! The chocolates were from DONARCH Chocolate shop. The pairing was delish. So much so i had to visit their shop in Maitland. WOW what a surprise. What a variety. Dark, milk, strawberry,
Caramel and white. Soft, hard, solid and All sorts. The lass serving us was lovely. She mentioned the owner has just opened another shop in Morpeth, and in a couple of weeks they will be decorating the shops for Christmas. Needless to say, i spent heaps to bring home. For all you chocolate lovers, this place is a must. You will be sorry if you miss it. YUMMMM.

We visited Donarch Chocolates in Tenambit yesterday and were amazed at the simply scrumptious selection and quality of the offering. This is a serious selection of delicious chocolates. Do not miss this little gem when visiting the Hunter area. It’s soooooooo worthwhile. My husband said it’s bloody good chocolate. Thanks.

I was recommended to go to Tenambit to try this chocolate shop !!!!After looking up where Tenambit was of i traveled. The store is nothing on the outside put out your head in and it’s like heaven 🍫Simply a fantastic assortment of chocolate . And flavours to die for . I wanted everything i saw . And mind you I don’t need to put more weight on . But great help from staff and away I went selecting a vast assortment of treats . Oh was I in mouth watering land . The store could be in London . Paris , or Sydney , and the quality still would stand out ... And all in a little village called Tenambit. For lovers of fine chocolate it’s a must .

Only too helpful to assist my order over the phone and previous experiences have always been extremely informative and friendly.
Of course the quality is incomparable and exceptional. A family owned and operated gem. Lucky to live so close by.
