Taronga western plains zoo is an amazing two day adventure. It will not leave you disappointed. The zoo talks are informative and fun. The highlight though is definitely the safari bus through the lion pride exhibit.

No. Nearest camping is in Dubbo. On-site camping at the zoo is only in the "glamping" tents provided.
