An expensive exercise that was not very rewarding. The information talks were flippant and poorly orchestrated. You had to leave one talk half way through to get to the next one on time. It is a money making machine. $7 to give a carrot to...More

My wife and I have been here twice now, both times enjoyed it thoroughly. Great parking facilities, the animals are well looked after and they have a wide variety of food to enjoy while you meander through the exhibits.

We loved our visit to this zoo. It was different to any other zoo i've been to in that you could get really close to the animals in their exhibits. We hired a bike with kids seat to get around the 6km circuit, and we...More

We made use of the 2 day pass arriving at Dubbo after lunch, we headed to the zoo and did a quick sweep around, with a lot of animals out to show themselves. Were pleased that we had done this as the following morning was...More

They have recently changed access to the cafe. You can now attend without need to pay the fee to visit the zoo. From the cafe, you can still see some of the inhabitants. Once you actually enter the facility, you will be able to view...More

My friend and I hired the bikes to travel around the zoo. I think a must to experience the zoo to the full extent. The animals, the keepers, staff and volunteers were all very friendly and knowledgable. Although a zoo, the animals have a lot...More

Entertaining teenagers during holidays is going to a challenge for any parent, sometimes I wonder finding Burke and Wills last stand would be easier. With three very disinterested kids who objected to the trip were loaded into the car and off we set. To be...More

Sensational day. Peaceful with a myriad of plants and trees and of course animals everywhere. I love you can either drive your own car, hire an electric vehicle or walk. Outstanding environment, beautifully maintained and sign posted. Seniors discount. Cost us $37 each from memory.

Visited in July School Hoildays. Hired a golf buggy which the kids loved. A little disappointing due to some animals not being on display. Can't wait to Loins Pride opens

We arrived mid afternoon so had about an hour and a half and all the next day I think two full days would be better, then you could also see the other sights of Dubbo
