As we were on a tight schedule & it was going to be a 40+C day, we went on the 6.30am guided tour. The volunteer guides were fantastic, very knowlable & we had good encounters with the hippos, giraffe, rhinos, monkeys etc. Highly recommended !

It will take you 5-6 hours drive from Sydney, I would suggest saying two nights If you want to see all the attractions and maybe take in a couple of zoo keeper talks you will need a full day, say 9am to 4pm. I certainly... More
