Visited this slab house and it’s outbuildings. The staff were around to explain a few things and there were recordings which gave some insight into the history and social history of the home. It was interesting to see how the walls were actually constructed.

This National Trust homestead is a few kms out of town, just past the zoo entrance. The homestead has been lovingly restored and has a fascinating history. There is also an old church on the site.
