RFDS was one of the Highlights of our trip to the region. We were really impressed by the work this organization does. Even our 4yrs old loved it and want to become a flying doc herself now. Don’t miss the tour!

We were shown around the base and saw how the communication room works and also saw the hanger with a new plane inside it. The staff were very informative and it was a worthwhile visiit.

As your time is limited I would also recommend taxi, maybe a few of your fellow travellers could share one. Well worth a visit as not all R.F.D.S bases have hanger workshops.
