This stunning Gothic Revivalist House is home to Christopher Morgan & family. Tours are conducted via appointment, and they also cater for special occasions. I've been here for a wedding, and we were ALL entranced! A little off the beaten track, yet VERY worthwhile.

We visited mid week when Chris and his wife were setting up for an antique auction. This made the visit chaotic but we did enjoy the many artefacts and the rich history Abercrombie House has. Well worth some time.

Wow, we took out of town friends to visit snd spent 4 hours at this delightful place. Our guests as well as us just loved the many interesting items displayed as well as the house with its beautiful history and architecture. This is a fantastic place to visit. The owners, the Mirgan family are friendly and welcoming.

A very real experience that takes you back in time. Fascinating to visit this restored huge old house and the stories told by our guide - a family member who grew up there made it really come to life. A must see when in Bathurst.

Abercrombie House is 10 minutes from the centre of Bathurst. It is an amazing building set in beautiful gardens. You can walk around in a self guided tour and see most of the private rooms, including bedrooms that the Morgan family live in. It has informative signage and when I have been, members of the family are there to give... More
