Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had lunch here in the cafe on the 17th Jan felt ripped off ONE stuffed mushroom and some salad $18 50 !! The gardens are lovely & worth visiting as is the gift shop which has many beautiful & intresting things for purchase especially if you are looking for a gift for overseas. Good varity of native plants for sale. Do your self a favour and take a picnic and give the cafe a miss.

The recovery of this beautiful area is a credit to the staff who have and still are putting their life's work into restoration of this lovely place. The serenity of the recovering bush is amazing to just sit in and ponder of the recent horror. Congratulations to the very hard working staff. Your efforts are amazing. Thank you

We visited as a family group - mother, father, 3 boys 12/9/7, grandparents and a great grandmother. The Eurobodalla Regional Botanical Gardens are an absolute gem. They are beautifully maintained with very modern facilities. Easily accessible paths and just fine for a wheelchair and mobility scooter - we had one of each. A fabulous playground for the children. Beautiful meadows and extremely spacious. And perfect for a family as zero entrance fee for all ages. Their cafe has recently changed hands and is now extremely well run by the folk from the Mossy Pacific Cafe at Mossy Point - great coffee and a wide range of food. Very good signage. A very enjoyable experience.

Whilst holidaying in Bateman's Bay, we saw the sign to the gardens and thought we'd check them out. We really enjoyed strolling along the well made paths, reading information boards about the different species of native plants and trees in the park.
What is excellent there, is the gift shop which has a great selection of quality items to buy for all ages. The staff were very welcoming and served us with a smile.
At the front of the visitors' centre is a small nursery, selling a variety of young native plants at reasonable prices.
To finish, we sat outside and enjoyed good coffee, tea and cake.
If you're not in a hurry, it's a great place to relax. Easy parking too.

We visited the gardens for the first time since the fires. No doubt the wetter cooler weather has helped to regenerate the trees with new shoots. It is lovely to see the contrast of the fire damaged and the new with burnt poles and signs left as a reminder. I love the new cafe and shop. The children’s books were great. Children would love the new playground. I’ll return with my grandchildren. Take a couple of hours to explore. It’s a quiet peaceful refuge.

We visited the gardens on our way south from Batemans Bay and unfortunately didn’t have a lot of time to spend there.
We were astonished to see that last year’s fires had swept through the surrounding forest but by some miracle had missed the visitors centre completely even though there was nobody there to fight the fire.
The forest is coming back and the gardens are being tended by volunteers. There is still some trees down and therefore tracks have had to be closed.
At this time of year there are not a lot of plants in flower but that didn’t spoil our relatively quick visit.
The shop has some lovely things and the plant sales offer a variety of native plants in tubes to purchase.
The staff are friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our visit.

What a great relaxing spot to stop, enjoy great coffee, relax with a leisurely stroll in the most beautiful surrounds with native animals all around you. Just called in by accident and discovered this little gem. So relaxing and will be back for sure. Coffee shop staff were so amazingly friendly.

Easy Disability parking, great disability access and friendly staff.
Walking areas that for are great for wheelchair access but hard after rain but that’s expected.
Food was fantastic, very large meals if you are a small eater, very beautiful and hot.

Came here for the cafe to have lunch with family members. It was a tranquil and peaceful setting. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. A great meeting spot. Afterwards we could wander down to the play area for kids. It has good disability access and grandma was able to use her walker all along the paths. Glad that the place is on the road to recovery again after the bushfires.

We had a delightful day here! Trees, walks, benches, birds and wallabies. Calm, not too many people, nice cafe with great cake and tea selection. Service slow and friendly, I figured we are in the country! Great shop with a native plant nursery. Well worth a visit. Terrible fire damage from last year - big reminder for us all to care for and support our natural environment. Forest is growing back, birds are starting to sing. And so much wildlife lost!
