Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Every Monday morning for 6 weeks we hopped into our kayaks and explored the beautiful waters of the South Coast of NSW as part of the "Young at Heart" program. We were expertly supported by our very experienced guides Garran and Mike from Region X. The program was perfect for beginners and a lovely way to meet a friendly group of like-minded souls. Our favourite Monday was our final day where we went sea kayaking from Garden Bay out to Black Rock and then along the coast to Wimbie Beach. The sea was calm, the sun was shining, the water was crystal clear and the rocky coastline from our kayaks was absolutely stunning. We had a delicious morning tea at a secluded beach by Grandfathers Gully and after a swim we went for a stroll along part of the beautiful Lilli Pilli Coast Walk. How lucky are we to live in such a gorgeous part of the world! The 6 week program was so inspiring that we are now heading to Western Australia in June to explore the Ningaloo Coast with Region X, can't wait!!

I went with 10 friends. We are retired or semi-retired members of Cronulla Men's Probus kayaking group. The 3-day 40km paddle from Shallow Crossing to Batemans Bay was a very enjoyable experience. Dave and Liam were excellent guides. Highly recommended!!

A great trip - the guides were lovely and knowledgeable and made sure we all had a wonderful time. Kayaking was relaxing and we saw stingrays and a huge colourful jellyfish.

Mike was a wonderful and relaxed guide for what was a fabulous morning of adventure. His instruction was simple and easy understand which for a first time sea kayaker gave me the confidence to enjoy the experience from the moment we hit the water. Tollgate Island is an amazing local asset and sea kayaking is a great mode of transport to experience its natural attributes.Perfect weather made the trip even more enjoyable.

This 3 day "Murramarang" walk is along beautiful deserted beaches and shaded native forests. It is a newly opened up coastal trail, the design of which concentrates on pleasurable walking, rather than the most direct route. Our tour guides Eva and Mish were excellent, informative and great company. All the practicalities, meals, transport and accommodation were seemly organised by Region X. Highly recommended.

I did this walk with my wife and eight others that we regularly walk with together. The walk was first class, with spectacular scenery, good accommodation and meals, and great support from our two guides. The lead guide Eva was extremely helpful and very well informed on the things we saw along the way. The support guide Mich was also very helpful, particularly during our kayaking experience. I would recommend doing this walk with Region X for anyone interested in a three day guided walk on the NSW South Coast.
