Camped 2 nights in one of 7 sites. Dirt road easy in any car. Clean pit toilet, fire pit with bbq in all sites, tables in some. Kangaroos at dusk, stars the highlight, unbelievable. Sleep to the sound of the waterfall. Walks for all abilities, including really short walk to good lookout or longer 1-8 hr ones. Take your pick. No swimming. Lots of recent rain made viewing spectacular, not sure if you go after been dry a long time. Peaceful. Great escape from covid world. Highly recommend. Take drinking water and something warm for the night.

We had been visiting friends in the local area and noticed their creek was flowing well through their property. We decided to drive out and take a look at Dangars Falls. We were so glad that we did. The river was in flood and the flow over the falls was the best that we had ever seen. We walked across to the other side of the river via the track which takes you to the Eastern side of the falls which is quite close. Fabulous to watch the power of water. While we were there we decided to continue on a little bit further to a lookout which looked over the lower gorge. Just awe inspiring! A very special spot indeed.

If you don't mind several kilometers of dirt road, the falls are definately worth a visit. There is ample parking and several excellent viewing spots within a very easy paved walkway. Lavatories and picnic facilities are available. The falls are a single, near verticle, drop. Looked sepctacular during our visit, following some good railfalls.

While it is a challenge over some gravel road to reach the Falls you won't be disappointed. The solid stream seems to reach from the sky to snake through the valley below.
