Murray River Canoe Hire has been doing canoe trips at Albury since 1991, we are the only company with qualified staff to give you a great trip on the Murray, whether it be for 2 hours or 10 days we can supply you with the best gear and the right knowledge, from 2 people to your social club ,school group or conference group ,we can do it for you, our trips include pick up and drop off ,life jackets and maps ,you can also come pick up a canoe and take it to your favourite place,fishing kayaks also available. Prices are from $30 per adult.

Absolutely brilliant! Had such a nice morning canoeing down the Murray. You can tell David has been doing this for a long time. He's exceptionally organised, patient and gives great advice on what type of canoe is right for you (he has a few different options if you want to go solo, double or triple). I was in a big canoe with my friend and my pet husky who absolutely loved it. You really don't need to be that fit as the current does most of the work. David gives you some basic instructions before you head off and it's very easy and safe.
Don't confuse this canoe hire for another operator with a similar name - David is the original canoe guy. There's a picture of him on the website.

Do your self a favour, this is the best way to see the Murray River.
I have previously used Murray River Canoe Hire a few years ago when I was in Albury working and since then wanted to take my wife on the same wonderful trip. As always Dave gave good advice and we set off in his bus up the river to the starting point (Water Works). The river was high but not difficult to handle. Plenty of wild life in the water and on the banks as we meandered down the river back down to Albury. We are in our 60's and the canoes were comfortable for the 2.5 hour paddle. Dave is the longest running and original Murray River Canoe Hire and it was a pleasure to deal with him again.

Amazing experience. Dave being very friendly gave us a few tips/ tricks before the trip. After the trip we were glad we did it and definitely 100% worth every second. Thanks so much Dave and we're coming for more trips☺️☺️

Had a great time kayaking here. Very pleasant waters. Dave was excellent. He was patient, knowledgeable and accommodating. He helped us with the basics of kayaking, had all the gear ready and gave us safety advice. He took great pictures of our group and recommended the local restaurants.

Thoroughly enjoyed our kayaking. Dave and his crew were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dave even got photos along the way of our 9 kayak crew from above along the way, memories we will cherish. We will recommend highly and hope to do again soon.

Came up from Geelong with wife and 2 young kids; doing an overnight 2 day trip down the Murray. Dave couldn't have been more helpful. Dave must have spent an hour with us before the trip talking through the tips and things to look out for. Lots of great advice that made a huge difference to our trip. Lent us heaps of equipment (didn't charge us for it). Didn't rush us ... just a great overall experience.

One of the best camping trips I've been on. Dave was really helpful, accomodating, friendly and had absolutely everything we needed ready to have an awesome trip.
Even though we'd never done the trip before, Dave's wealth of knowledge made sure we were fully prepped and in for a good time.
Definitely will be back!

Great friendly service. Highly recommended even if you have only few hours in Albury. Absolutely georgeus environment! You can go hard and finish your workout for a day, or totally relax, and let water carry you!
