A very pleasant spot for a picnic, a short walk or just for morning or afternoon tea sitting by the river.

A lovely riverside parkland with many facilities including cafe's and toilets. Swimming in the river is common.

Beautiful place with large river gums, grassed lawns and the Murray River to swim in plus a coffee shop restaurant if you wish.

This is a spacious riverside park with trees, grassed areas and must be lovely in the heat of summer as well . The river current does look very fast flowing, so swim with caution . Ideal for a picnic

This is a beautiful park right on the banks of the Murray River. I believe you can swim here in the warmer months, but on our visit, it was a bit cool and the river current seemed to be quite strong.
The park is spectaularly maintained so do yourself a favour. Grab a picnic blanket and food and wine and take in the beauty the country has to provide. Well worth a visit.

Our Picnic was set up on the banks of the river and weather was perfect. Surprisingly we were virtually the only ones here other than some walkers.

The area has picnic tables, BBQ facilities nearby which are undercover and good for groups. Ample parking is provided and there is a lovely walk along the river bank.

Beautiful shady trees and great picnic facilities (BBQs, Tables, Bins) to ensure a wonderful stay. Large enough to not feel cramped and great areas for young children to play both in the river and outside in the playground.
