Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is neat and tidy and interesting. We need many more native plants here to encourage birds and wildlife but in this the Albury City Council has failed badly.A few years ago we had a visit here from beautiful Flying Foxes and the Council preyed on Community ignorance and blasted them out each morning until they finally left!Do the right thing and plant onlyNatives.I won’t be back and won’t recommend it to anyone who is genuinely interested in the Environment.

Breathtaking afternoon stroll. This park is open to the public for free. There are toilets, water fountain, children park, xylophone and a water pump. Lovely place to be spent with children. Ours love it so much they didn’t want to leave

We were surprised at how well maintained and presented these gardens were. Although small, it suited us as we had very limited time. Some of the tree names and signage probably needs updating but that does not detract from how relaxing these surroundings are. Well done Albury.

This is only a small park so doesn't need a great deal of time for a walk round. It is well laid out and has an excellent children's section. Close to town and we'll worth a visit. Parking is easy as well.

Nice gardens to spend a little while in. Not huge but big enough to walk around in less than an hour and enjoy the peace and quiet. Clean and tidy and contains some interesting flora.

We enjoyed a brief repeat visit to these long-established gardens.
Everything was neat and tody with two Council gardeners hard at work removing palm fronds.
The grass was green, there was plenty of seating and the temperature was pleasant, though little sun as it was autumn.
Overall a nice little walk, complemented by the 100 year old entrance.
Don't miss the obelisk highlighting the Hume (of Hume and Hovell explorer fame) tree site. Those men were marvellous pioneers and deserve much bigger recognition than they typically receive from Australian schoolteachers today.

Located on the western edge of the CBD can be found the Botanic Gardens. This is a parkland of manicured lawns and a stunning array of plant life. There are plenty of walkways and benches to have a seat. A stunning gated area and well worth a visit.

A fantastic family day out! Gorgeous gardens and an excellent nature playground. This playground is gated meaning you can let the kids run wild. A cute little fairy castle and large dinosaur among the play equipment. Plenty of shade. Take you picnic blanket and enjoy!

A pleasant place to visit, if you wish to get away from the crowds and shops etc, for an hour or so. easily accessible by foot, it has something for all the family - with a special children’s garden, which was pretty cool.
