- George FSydney, Australia36 contributionsWell maintained and worth a visitWe were surprised at how well maintained and presented these gardens were. Although small, it suited us as we had very limited time. Some of the tree names and signage probably needs updating but that does not detract from how relaxing these surroundings are. Well done Albury.Visited December 2022Written 10 December 2022
- AndyJohn74Sans Souci, Australia3,188 contributionsBeautiful parkland.Located on the western edge of the CBD can be found the Botanic Gardens. This is a parkland of manicured lawns and a stunning array of plant life. There are plenty of walkways and benches to have a seat. A stunning gated area and well worth a visit.Visited December 2022Written 28 December 2022

Not huge but big enough to walk around in less than an hour and enjoy the peace and quiet. Clean and tidy and contains some interesting flora.Visited February 2023Written 5 February 2023

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A pleasant place to visit, if you wish to get away from the crowds and shops etc, for an hour or so. easily accessible by foot, it has something for all the family - with a special children’s garden, which was pretty cool.

Absolutely beautiful!
The Albury Botanic Gardens are world class, and a credit to the workers who maintain and care for them.

While not a large site, the gardens are very relaxing and well maintained. Be aware it is a traditional garden, with many varieties of trees and shrubs that were popular 100 years ago, but that is very interesting to see how much botanical gardens have changed. There is an excellent children's garden with lots of equipment for the children to explore.

This place is neat and tidy and interesting. We need many more native plants here to encourage birds and wildlife but in this the Albury City Council has failed badly.A few years ago we had a visit here from beautiful Flying Foxes and the Council preyed on Community ignorance and blasted them out each morning until they finally left!Do the right thing and plant onlyNatives.I won’t be back and won’t recommend it to anyone who is genuinely interested in the Environment.
