Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

This is such an amazing walk with lagoons on one side with all sort of great birdlife and the river on the other side. I wasn't all that bothered about the sculpture but the walk was just lovely. You can walk all the way to the Wonga wetlands which makes it quite a walk but actually they weren't as nice as the earlier part of the walk. We went at dusk which seemed perfect and this was one the highlights of our three weeks travelling around Australia (rather to my surprise).

For those with time, this can be a nice tranquil stroll along the path to look at the different sculptures. They are beautifully made and does reflect the culture and tradition of the Australians. Parking is free to start the walk.

Walked the track Christmas day, the sculptures are fabulous
Not alot of shade towards the end which makes it difficult in summer and make sure you bring water , no bubblers along the way
But a must do when in albury,

This walk is found along the track that runs beside the Murray River. It is a series of sculptures by local artists. The track is wide and sealed, great for walking as well as cycling.

Beautiful walk by the river and past the wetlands . The sculptures along the way make it even more interesting. We only did the 30 minute walk but there are three lengths - longest being 2 and half hours. We had lovely spring weather. Great for strollers, bikes, scooters or just the plain old walk.

Fantastic walk or ride along the Murray River exploring impressive locally made sculptures. Very easy access on bikes or foot. Entire path is bitumen and mostly flat. Very safe with kids and dogs as not near traffic. Suggest you pack a picnic as there are lots of spots to stop and enjoy the wetlands or river.
Wonga Wetlands at the end of the walk are beautiful with plenty of bird life. No bikes (or dogs) allowed in Wonga wetlands but they have bike racks where you can chain your bike up and walk around. Toilets and car parks at both ends of the walk (Kremur St boat ramp and Wonga wetlands).
Highly recommend this beautiful part of Albury.
