Great wines, great service, down to earth people
Nov. 2021
Great wines, great service, down to earth people who break down wine details for the everyday drinker. Love their new booking system for wine tasting and platters. The platters were great and flexible as to what we wanted on. Loved it so much had to place an order at the end. I've been before and the same great service and wine happened then (more than 5 years ago!).

Recommended for the mulled wine
Jul. 2021
Stopped here for a well-deserved mulled wine after a long cycle ride from Arrowtown. Probably the sunniest spot in the Gibbston Valley. Excellent mulled wine to boot. Spent a very chilled hour or so sitting in the winter sunshine recovering from our exertions

Wine and platter - all good
Apr. 2021
We called in for a wine and platter - nice setting with great views. One of our party is gluten free and they offered GF biscuits for him. The wine was very nice and the platters quite acceptable - fairly expensive compared to others we have had - but the view made up for it. Nice friendly people - even other guests who we had a chat with. Definitely worth a second visit next time we're in the area

Mt Rosa Wine Tasting
Jan. 2021
There was a fabulous wine selection, and Guy was very helpful in his explanation about each wine. Nice environment. It was raining while we were there but it would be a lovely spot on a nice day!

Must Visit
Oct. 2020 • Friends
We visited this winery as part of the hop on hop off bus. It was our favourite winery. The service was outstanding and we took advantage of the free freight and sent some wine home. The food was really reasonably priced and yummy. A wonderful way to spend a few hours.

Must Do Wine Tasting
Sep. 2020 • Couples
We had this winery on our last stop of the Hop On Hop Off bus trip and it is definitely a must do. Beautiful wines, lots of fun and so glad we had booked in. Can’t emphasize enough that you must include in your itinerary!!! Can’t wait for our regular deliveries!

Must to do, amazing!
Sep. 2020 • Couples
Amazing wines and people! I've heard a lot about this place and finally today I could stop for a tasting. All the titles were great, but the pinot blanc and the rose were especially good! Guy, Ann and Baz do the personal style. We felt at home, easy to spend time, have fun and great tasting wines! We were at hop on hop off wine tours, so, to enjoy all the experience, 1h15min was a perfect time!

Do stop here
Aug. 2020 • Couples
We had attempted lunch at another winery and left as we could not get any service. Called into Mt Rosa and could easily have spent the afternoon there. Meat platter, cheese platter, lovely outdoor seating, nice wine and Trish the host was a star she could not have done more to make us feel welcome. We hope the announcement that day at 5.30 meant she could get her holiday and a wine that night. We were even given a mulled wine which was fantastic, but wait there was more on leaving we were given a piece of very moist fruit cake and the winery dog features in the Wine Dogs book.
