I love the attention to detail given from our server. I didn’t partake in the wine tasting but the server was very informative about the wines my family sampled and made us feel like royalty. We didn’t eat as no vegan option appealed. Was lovely to sit in the beautiful garden and soak up the atmosphere. A must do if you’re looking to do a vineyard trip. …

The male staff member who served us put us off the place straight away. When enquiring about the tastings and whether the fee was waived with a purchase or 2, the answer we got was 'No because we have 20 something dollar bottles of wine so it's not worth it for us'. Without even so much as a smile from the employee, I instantly wanted to leave. Every other place we went to either had free tastings or tasting fee was redeemable with a purchase. Some other places we did come across didn't refund tastings either but we didn't mind this as the wine was amazing and the employee took the time to explain to us the wine and make us feel important, here that wasn't the case. It was a shame as this place had been talked up to us so we were excited but I regret that we stayed and paid for the tastings.…

One of the earliest and still one of the best vineyards to visit in Queenstown. Their wines are excellent, although many will say that other vineyards have topped them in certain categories. Matter of taste and opinion. What makes Gibbston attractive is the quality of the restaurant, and the more informal café area where meat and cheese platters were common. There is also a specialist cheese only place, accommodation and various other activities. It is always a pleasure to sit in the shade and sip good wine. Gibbston does that well, although others do too, but I head for here first…

If you are into some wine tasting and nice meals in the Central Otago region, you should go to this winery and restaurant for some drinks and a nice lunch. This place was packed when we got there, which was a good sign for a winery. If you are only after a drink and some snacks and cheese, you can also get it here in this winery. You should visit this place if you are in the Central Otago region.…

Highly recommend this to anyone, even if your not a biker you can upgrade to an E-bike. We just did the normal bikes and found it pretty easy. We had the best day and Ronan our shuttle driver made the experience awesome for us as he went over and above and gave us great recommendations on what places to visit. We first biked to Kinross, then across to cargo brewery, then down to Peregrine wines, then back to Gibson valley for lunch & more wine (which was incredible food). We added a few extra hours at the end and stayed at Gibson valley winery for more wines after lunch and dessert! Every part of this day was a highlight and will definitely be back whenever we come to Queenstown! …
