Traverse the western shores of Lake Wakatipu and into Mt Aspiring National...

Traverse the western shores of Lake Wakatipu and into Mt Aspiring National Park . Let Revolution Tours take you on Queenstowns original fully guided and supported luxury biking and walking tour. After a day of riding in spectacular surroundings you will enjoy a hearty gourmet dinner and perhaps a good wine (or two!). Following that you may choose to rest your weary limbs in front of the fire or soak in the hot tub. Then happily drift off to sleep in one of the quality historic lodges along the trail and wake refreshed for another day of adventure. Because you deserve it.

All luggage is transported by our support vehicle to the following nights destination. This leaves you free to enjoy your ride and walk without the extra weight of all your personal belongings. When riding you can cycle at your own pace along mainly flat and rolling farm and back country roads knowing that all your luggage is taken care of. Your experienced guides are there riding with you, on hand to share local knowledge, take spectacular photos and to fix those unfortunate flat tyres!

We take the hassle out of your tour planning by taking care of all aspects of your tour. Everything is included in the price of our tours except 'over the bar' drinks. You just decide you want to come along and we take care of the rest.

We love this part of New Zealand and can't wait to share this secret paradise with you.

We experienced a vast array of scenery starting with a cruise on the Earnslaw across Lake Wakatipu, cycling around the edge of the lake and through two high country stations, cycling beside braided rivers, crossing small streams, passing under majestic, snow capped mountains and staying at historic lodges. The trail is relatively easy and doesn't require a high degree of... More

Kate and Matt have designed a beautiful, enjoyable trip through some of NZ's less traveled areas, and make every effort to make sure it works. A real family affair, with Matt's parents deeply involved. Wonderful time.

This is definitely one for the bucket list! Matt and Kate are thoroughly organised and safety conscious tour guides. The cycling distances are achievable with the route following quiet country roads over golden farmland and dappled beech forest amidst the constant backdrop of snow-capped mountains. The exercise is necessary given the generous and plentiful food each day. There are delightful... More

This cycle tour is aptly named. It was really special to do a tour headed by the people who owned it, Kate and Matt, who put their heart and soul into it and showed great attention to detail. Every aspect of the organisation was thoroughly prepared. The food provided was more than plentiful, and catered to everyone's tastes using delicious... More

Had a great experience with Matt & Kate. We were lucky - all the group were good fun. Some good weather - some not so but it didn't matter. Professional organisation with great attention to detail - excellent food. I rode in the van a couple of times and experienced 'control central' with road conditions/cars/flooding etc. Would recommend.

This guided bike tour is great, partly for the diversity and also because in every respect Kate and Matt deliver a high quality experience. I loved the variety, we not only rode our bikes through beautiful scenery but also enjoyed a couple of boat trips on Lake Wakatipu, as well as a walk on the Routeburn Track. Matt and Kate... More

Our bike tour with Kate and Matt was one of the highlights of our three week visit to New Zealand. The scenery is spectacular and the food was awesome. It was off the beaten path and we felt so fortunate to see this part of New Zealand away from the crowds. Every aspect of the trip was well thought out... More

This was a wonderful experience from the moment Kate and Matt greeted us on the shores of Lake Whakatipu. A bike trip that was superbly organised by caring and hospitable hosts. Awesome trip. Challenging hills, plenty of fords, wonderful food and accommodation and excellent hosts, Kate and Mat. The scenery is beautiful, and a great oportunity to see parts of NZ not easily accessable. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves biking.
