We did 3 tours with Real Journeys. We did the Milford Sound, Doubtful sound and glow worm tours. Each of them was very educational and beautiful however each said basically the same information. Milford sound was absolutely beautiful! The seals were very cute and I even saw a penguin which was very exciting. We went when there had not been... More

I don't have many complaints with the actual cruise- how can you really when surrounded by such a gorgeous landscape? But if you are traveling alone, you have to pay the singles supplement- which is about one and a half trips- and it's simply NOT WORTH THE MONEY. ( I think the rationale is that two people spend more, but... More

Kia Ora and thanks for the review. We are pleased to see how much you enjoyed the trip itself, the lovely staff and good food on board your cruise. The rate includes your cabin, all meals, transfers and all activities. Our feedback from customers suggests that most people spend their time exploring the vessel, chatting to the on-board Nature Guide... More

Very professional tour. Brian, our bus driver and tour guide was outstanding! He highlighted several sights as we traveled to Te Anau and on to the Milford Sound docks. The bus was very comfortable. Our pick-up at our hotel was on time. The highlights included Mirror Lake and a few rest stops as well as great opportunities to get great... More

We had this cruise booked as part of our NZ package and it was without a doubt the highlight! The coach journey to Milford Sound was long but very pleasant. The coach itself is comfortable and designed so everyone has amazing views. There is also wifi on board (not that you'd want to use it given how stunning the surroundings... More

We booked the Real Journey's doubtful sound trip from Queenstown. It was very convenient to be picked up and dropped off next to where we were staying. The scenery was beautiful and we were fortunate enough to have sunshine that day, although that made for small waterfalls. We opted for the delux lunch option and were glad that we did... More

We took a journey on this 104 year old coal burning steamer to the Walters Peak sheep ranch and enjoyed the biggest and best B.B.Q. dinner we ever have had. After dinner we strolled thru the beautiful rose garden and we had a great dockside chat with the sheep ranch manager while waiting for the "Earnslaw". This is another must... More

We did the overnight cruise with Real Journeys on Doubtful Sound and thought it was simply spectacular. We had been out on a Milford Sound Cruise a couple years ago, and as majestic as that was, Doubtful Sound was even more wonderful. Now, I should point out that our experience was no doubt influenced a great deal by our good... More

From the moment we stepped on Cams Coach ( he really takes pride in his vehicle) to the moment we left it we were so well looked after and our every need catered for. Cam is a font of wisdom and as my dear wife says is one of the few men she has met who can multi task 😜... More

Slick no trouble organisation- it's quite a journey by coach leaving at 8.30 and arriving at the boat at 4 but our enthusiastic driver Craig with photo stops and commentary made it seem much less. We stopped at Te Anau for lunch (own cost). The boarding was quick and the ensuite cabin tight but functional. Had tea while touring about... More
