Don't like driving around wineries? Then The Winery in Queenstown is the place for you. Not only can you try local wines, but also other wines from New Zealand and internationally. They do food platters as well. An excellent rainy day activity. Well worth a visit.

Amazing place to hang out. No pressure. Taste at your leisure. Comfy chairs to chill. We went there every day we were in town. Just so relaxing.

Seems to be an endless choice of wines here. Self serve, a taste, half or full glass from the enomatic dispensers. Charge on a card and pay at the end- dangerous! Great food platters available to accompany your wine choice. I could of sipped away for hours, great atmosphere.

Late Sunday afternoon, after a day of sightseeing and daring deeds on water we settled in to our couples treat, a birthday present. We were quickly taken to two gorgeous, comfortable leather chairs and in no time our cheese platter appeared and we were set up with two credit cards ready to taste on demand. The helpful staff deftly guided... More

Amazing experience for international guests to try local wines in a group, as the delivery method of trying wines is very cool and an unique experience. Cheese and meat platters were delicious too. My wedding guests enjoyed the experience.

Loved this place, spent a whole afternoon here. You top up a charge card to insert at any of the wine stations, they have all kinds including rose and some whiskey's too. Charges are for a taste, half glass or full glass. It was great to have a taste of the really expensive stuff! Found the staff there were very... More

We visited three times in four days!! This place is awesome if you just want to chill out and kill a few hours. Great spot if you like to do a little wine tasting. Reasonable prices and an awesome selection of local wines to try. We also ordered a cheese board and didn't need any dinner after it! Was huge!... More

This is a great concept. You are given a "charge card" to use to record your tastes then pay at the end. There are 3 sizes of taste so you can try small quantities of expensive wine. We tried lots of local producers without someone needing to be the designated driver. There's also a gorgeous cheese platter choice so that... More

We saw a similiar concept in California. Although unique, their selections were a little pricey. If you can't make it on a wine tour, this is a good alternative. Otherwise, I wasn't that impressed with their selection and the prices were steep. Chairs were comfortable. Worth a visit, but watch how much you spend. Staff was very helpful.
