a stay in Dunedin

Interesting museum. Although I had expected to see a bit more of the All Black's. There was unfortunately not a little book of the All Black's

Very old and interesting station that still is the operating station for the city. This is an iconic building of one of the first settlements of NZ.They also have a farmers' market adjacent to it in the parking lot, making it a hive of activity. Nice garden in front of the building, too--very picturesque.

If you are interested in sport, it is definitely worth a browse. Some interesting bits in there and some interactive items too.

You can spend several hours inside this place, it quite cheap to get in. Some of the memorabilia obtained is very nostalgic. For such a small country there has been numerous world class sports people. Well worth a visit

We discovered that the Sports Hall of Fame is actually upstairs INSIDE the train station. At the front desk was a sign indicating that they would do family discounts, so we asked how much for nine people and they let us in for $25. This museum is relatively small but is packed with exhibits. Anyone from Australia or New Zealand... More

A great little side trip whilst visiting Dunedins historic railway station. Pop in and have a browse around. It's great to see kiwi sporting icons being acknowledged for their hardwork, sacrifice and dedication.

Only of those who have been inducted into the hall of fame. Not all good NZ sportspeople. Well presented with available write ups of things of interest to take home. Some hands on exhibitions. Worth a visit allow 1 - 2 hours

Poorly publicised. An important location for followers of sporting greats. Located on the upper floor of the Railway Station. Well worth a look even if sports are not your interest

One of the best I've seen, for the entry price of $6.00, per person. When in Dunedin, this has to visited. A climb up some stairs at the railway station, and into another world. This Sports Hall of Fame, covers all sectors of sporting, and some others that have happened in NZ. When I visited, a video, of the Cook... More
