Such history and incredible architecture - I just love First Church, and out the back of the church is a small archieve with the history of the land (bell hill) and the Church itself. Take the time to visit First Church and be overwhelmed by its beauty

We did not go inside but just walked aroud the grounds, its a very embolding building during our time here the dark clouds gave it a an even more dynamic shadow over the city.

It was built in 1873 and was fun to look around. I particularly enjoyed the stained glass windows. You can look around the church itself and a small museum and shop.

Wonderful stained glass windows, the woodwork inside is just amazing. The church is so high it makes me wonder how they built it.

Great to stroll to if you are in Dunedin. A nice place to relax and read a book. Can't really go in but the grounds are free to public.
