This was my highlight of my trip. I started up the hill, thinking I wouldn’t get too far, but soon I was up high enough looking down on all the 20-30 year olds struggling! I’m nearly fifty and not very fit at all, so I...More

Nice drive by attraction since it is the steepest street in the world. I had no desire to walk the street to test its steepness. If you have a driver and some time, it's a nice to see in Dunedin.

This street may be only 350m long but we took almost half hour to get to the top! It was strenuous and worth the effort. The view from the top is great. Totally recommend people to stretch their muscles on this street!

Taken to Baldwin Street - allegedly the steepest road in the world. And amazingly steep it is, but so are the 3 or 4 parallel roads. Quite how anyone can live in a house half way up,the Hill goodness only knows!

I agree it is not really an attraction but is fun to visit. I walked to the top and it is quite a strange sensation to walk across the street to the other side. You almost feel you are going to fall over. Definitely worth...More

As soon as you see it, you appreciate the steepness. It’s not very long so it’s an easy walk to the top.
