Only a fewminutes drive out of the city the views are incredible go back via Lyttleton through the tunnel.

And when you take the gondola to the top of Mount Cavendish, you get 350-degree views of the city, from the Pacific Ocean, the harbor across to the Southern Alps on the west coast. Marvelous !

The walks available on and around the Port Hills are almost endless. There are hikes and gentle walks for all fitness types, but be sure to bring grippy walking shoes. There are short walks of around 30 mins, and longer ones of 3 hours plus....More

Amazing views of christchurch and over to Littleton harbour. Drive up to summit road and there’s lots of car parking and walk ways up to each summit without to much walking. Please be sure to not litter or park like a idiot like some people...More
