After visiting Kate Sheppard Memorial we crossed the Avon River and walked along the boulevard to get to the Art Centre, i-Site, it also leads to The Museum & Botanical Gardens.

Although the street is 300-metre long, it's the way to find the Museum, Christ School, and the i-site on one side, while you walk you can see old houses and buildings as well as a small market to reach the art gallery on the opposite...More

This is a beautiful street with many different types of buildings. The museum is at one end with many wooden houses and the art gallery. Doesn't take long so worth just having a look.

The Gothic cathedral at one end, and the Gothic museum at the other is a fantastic sight, marred slightly by the protrudence of the new art gallery. Unfortunately, the quakes and bishop have ruined the cathedral but if sense prevails, the view will return.

An interesting and quirky part of town. Lots of gallery's, museums and coffee shops. At the time of my visit there was a big rebuild going on. A great place to explore, enroute to the botanical gardens.

This is a beautiful street with so much to see and do. There are a few coffee shop's and restaurants / pubs in this street. Some interesting artwork and of course the beautiful council building as well as the art centre and the art gallery.

Worcester Boulevard is a great walking area that is Christchurch's arts precinct. Taking you up to the Botanical Gardens there are a good number of places to explore in the street as well as there being tram stops.
