This is the country's. Only memorial to commemorate women killed in war. It was closed by the earthquake, but should still be important in our memory and in passing.

My husband and I got married here in April 2008 and it is the most amazing little chapel for small intimate weddings. So sad to see supports around it when we go past.

Though internal access not available until earthquake damage this 19th century brick chapel stands in front of modern buildings as a reminder of the nurses who died working overseas during World War 1.
