Corsair Bay was amazing, such a sheltered little spot. Hidden down a wee pathway. Love that it has a grass area and sand area available.

Around from Lyttleton, and a good swimming beach, the water is cold, and gradually gets deeper, bring a wetsuit

I go here all the time as it's a great swimming spot - gets pretty crowded in summer though. New food truck in car park too for ice creams and drinks etc. But please take your rubbish away with you!

Corsair Bay is a wee gem, especially in week days, when only a few locals are there. Lovely beach surrounded by beautiful trees and scenery. It was my haven when I lived over that way. In the weekend it can be crowded but it is...More

This quiet, quite hidden bay is very steep to get to but is popular with locals as it is not a tourist spot, and once a year hosts a great pirate rumbustifiction. Great fun - natural magic.

The Council closes gates after 8.30 pm, so no worries. Just check times as enter the parking area first.
