What a wonderful attraction ! From the outset, the place was spotless and manned by warm, enthusiastic staff. Clear written and verbal instructions made for an easy tour, partly self-guided and partly in a guided group setting behind the scenes where we could see the...More

I've been to the Air Force Museum numerous times and on different occasions and it's always worth going back! The history displayed is amazing and it's a great place to celebrate kid's parties and functions too!

I thought this museum was amazing. So many planes and info panels to look at. The only thing which was... Lacking? Was the Prisoner of War section. It looked like it should be more interactive and immersive but again, lots of interesting reading material.

Such an interesting place. Make sure you do the free tour. The guide we had was an ex-airforce pilot. Great for any aironuts.

Really good museum a short drive out of Christchurch. Free entry and great facilities. Nice little cafe. Very good displays and one or two unusual aircraft. Had a very good tour from a very knowledgeable guide which took in the workshops. All free.
