Can move around with my wheelchair, good food, stalls and toilet block. Disability parking spot but could have more.

Ch-ch's biggest market which can be crowded, but then popular places are. It'll take an hour just to meander past all the stalls, let alone stopping to browse, then there is the huge variety of food for lunch, and a lunching area to sit and eat and listen to the music. This is one of Ch-ch's success stories. VISIT IT!

Plenty of stalls selling interesting stuff from pre-loved to new items. Goods ranges from normal daily cookware, handyware to art stuff and souvenirs. There are plenty of food vans as well. There are also performances by art group as well as individuals. I got a rain proof jacket at a steal, which cost 2-3 times in the cities.

Stopped here on our way out of town and we were very surprised at the size of it. So much variety and lots of food I wish we had more time to spare to make the most of it.

The Rotary Market operates every Sunday morning (bar Easter Sunday and Christmas) at the Riccarton Raceway. It officially opens at 9am but go earlier because then you'll catch the cool brocante and the dealers will always sell early. For bargains, be there at 2pm which pack up time. If you're using public transport just get a bus that goes down... More

There was a really good range of stalls, you could spend ages just poking around. All sorts of second-hand goods, but also new stuff and crafts. Would have liked more fresh produce, but maybe that was because it's winter? Had a great coffee and there's a variety of food available, from donuts to pasties to Asian food to wieners. Guy... More
