We really enjoyed our tour of 5 vineyards, our guide and driver Cameron was great. We learnt a lot about the area and wines produced here. There were 10 of us on the trip and it was fun to get to know them along the way. Tasted some great wines, particularly liked the Pinot Gris wines. Our favourite vineyard was the smallest - Gibson Bridge Vineyard. They specialise in Pinot Gris and the owner, Howard was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Sadly we couldn’t take any with us as getting a ferry the next day but will try and source some in UK. Would throughly recommend this tour and Cameron even took us on a bonus trip to the Chocolate Factory & a Brewery. Did need a lie down after!

A great day out (even though our group couldn't believe we would be drinking wine so early in the morning .... but we did !! )
Mike our guide was very informative about the area and the wineries. He is clearly respected within this region and has a great relationship with the wineries we visited.
He read our group well and adjusted his input and banter accordingly.
thanks for a great day out - will highly recommend :)

Thank you for spending the day with us, and for your super review.
After three days of walking the Queen Charlotte track we are sure that you deserved to have a few drinks. :)
The Bubbly Grape is looking forward to seeing you all again one day (and Mike promises to serenade you on the bagpipes only after you have been to at least four wineries)

I can’t praise this company enough from Gary the director to Jon the driver and host, nothing was too much trouble. The pickup was on time and from the offer Jon made everyone feel at home with his knowledge of the area, the vineyards we were to visit and he interacted with everyone. The vineyards chosen were of excellent quality and also had a great deal of information to impart to us on the type and variety of grape and wine. This was truly a memorable tour made even better by the excellent Jon and Gary from Bubbly Grape Wine Tours. If you go with this company you WONT be disappointed.

We did the Sauvignon Blanc Wine Tour. This was relaxed and very enjoyable. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The wineries were great - lots of great wines to taste. And some snacks were provided at one of the stops. A lovely way to spend the day.

Hi Christopher
Thank you for the great review.
It was our absolute pleasure to share with you the beauty of Marlborough, the range of wines that are grown here, and interesting facts (along with a couple of urban legends).
We look forward to seeing you and your friends on a Bubbly Tour again.

I wanted to do the half day wine tour with my wife and 7 month old. The lady seemed very hesitant. She asked me if the baby was going to cry all day because there would be other people on the tour. She wouldn't say we can't have children in the tour though. When I told her he was generally very good but he's been a bit sick recently so we can't guarantee anything. As if you can guarantee what a 7 month old will do anyway. She finally said we could but we'd need a car seat, which was fine. But then she wanted to charge us $30 for the baby because he needed a car seat!!!! How ridiculous!!! This is in the middle of winter where they're lucky to have one or two people in the tours! Stay away if you have a family!!

It is hard to believe as an owner of a company how people can try to ruin you in one review. Especially someone who HASN'T BEEN ON A TOUR with you.
There are two sides to every story and by making one phone call and writing this review it is really uncalled for and hurtful.
I had a phone call with these guests wanting to do a tour. This person was on the defense before even telling me that he had a baby with them, I thought at the start it was a tour for one person.
I have had a few email bookings lately with people requesting not to have children on the tour. I love children and have one of my own, however I have to respect other paying guests on the tour. I have taken many children on the tour in the past and have happily looked after them whilst their parents have tasted wines. I did mention to this person on the phone the past comments of a guest and said it is hard in the van if children cry throughout the whole tour. However that I was happy to take them. We do charge a $30 fee for children as by law they are required to have their own seat, and of course it means that we take one less paying guest. I said I would supply a baby car seat for them also at no charge. What more was I meant to say. The person on the phone even said ok we will discuss it and call you back. He didn't sound excessively angry, but then writes this review.
I'm sorry that I mentioned it to you and if you did a wine tour with us you would hopefully see us in a different light.
Regards Kerry.

Our guide, Lyndsay was the most engaging guide who knows the business and area well. We covered lots of wineries so we did not miss any particular type of wine, had a fabulous lunch, and at the end of the day visited a boutique chocolatier and did a cheese tasting. Really could not have been better; would highly recommend!

Kerry of Bubbly Grape Wine Tours was our guide for an all-day tour. This is the Marlborough wine area of New Zealand, and the area where most NZ wines found in USA stores come from. Kerry took great care of us, getting us into wineries both large and small, transporting our little group around in her comfortable van. The tour included lunch at one of the wineries, and stops at several non-winery points of interest during the day. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely day with Kerry on the half day wine tour. We learned a lot and it was a very relaxing day! We got to try lots of wine and even though it was a half day, it wasn’t at all rushed. Kerry made sure to ask us what we were interested in in order to tailor the tour for us, would definitely recommend!

Thank you Eilis for the lovely review.
I am glad you felt that you had an enjoyable time traveling around the wineries with me.
So many places to choose from so we like you to have input into the wines you like or a winery that is a 'must do'.
A mixture of the bigger and smaller ones works well.
Take care and keep enjoying the Marlborough Wines for Years to come.
Warmest regards
Kerry

Firstly, we were very lucky because the day we booked our tour we were the only ones. We spoke about the wines we like and how we wanted to see the area - and that was exactly what we got! Kerry is friendly, and is keen to make sure that you get the wine experience. she knows all the vineyards and the wines in each so she is able to direct the tour.
really was worth it as if we tried it ourselves we wouldn't have had half the fun, the tastings or the food! In total we went to seven vineyards (and yes chocolate was included!!). Kerry thanks for an great day!

Thank you for the great review.
How could you not have a great time drinking exceptional wine.
We are proud that we know the region, wine and staff as it gives you a warm enjoyable experience.
The rest speaks for itself!
And of course the Chocolate. We are always happy to take you to the chocolate Shop if it is requested.
Keep enjoying the many wines from this area and come back and visit us sometime :-)
Kindest regards
Kerry.

We were the only people on the tour with Lyndsay so were given individual attention. She was bubbly, fun and knowledgable and made the day a great experience. The vintners at 4 vineyards were all excellent and there was no pressure what-so-ever to buy anything which was nice. We finished off at a chocolatiers and were dropped off at the end of great tour. Thanks Lyndsay for making it such an enjoyable experience. Would recommend to anyone.

hi there, we don't generally pick up from Nelson as it is over an hour and a half away. If you were a big group we would consider it. Not generally in our busy time of the year though. Best thing to do is email me. cheers Kerry.

My husband and I will be staying in anakiwa in late sept for a week. We're interested in a wine tour but won't have transport. How far do you pick up from or is there public transport in to you?
Cheers, Henrietta

Hi Henrietta. We pickup from Picton and Havelock. Anakiwa adds another 30 - 40 minutes to the pickup and return time which makes it impractical

Hi there, I would like to book a full day tour with my family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids aged 10 and 2 on 17 July, we'll be staying at Chateau Marlborough, is it possible you could pick us up in the hotel? Thanks Debbie
Written 5 July 2016
Hi Debbie,
Thank you for your message. Unfortunately we are having a break away for 10 days starting on the 14 th so we will be unable to take your family. My suggestion is to try Marlborough Wine Tours. Sorry that I couldn't help for this time.
Regards Kerry.

HI There,
Thank you for contacting me. We would love to take you on a wine tour of this gorgeous region. We make up the wineries we visit on the day by taking everyone in the van's idea's and make a great day from it. If there are any wineries that you want to visit let me know and we can add them to the list. For the lunch for the Gourmet tour we go to either Brancott, Wither Hills or Allan Scott.
Let me know if you would like to join us :-)
Kindest regards
Kerry.

Hi there,
I am looking at the Gourmet Lunch tour for my partner and i.
Couple of questions, where is the pick up/ drop off?
How many wineries are visited in total?
What is the normal group size? We will be looking to visit late September.
Many thanks!
Written 25 May 2015
Hi David,
thank you for your inquiry re a tour with us.
We would love to take you on a tour in late September.
The Gourmet tour is a lovely option. Pick up and drop off would be at your Accommodation in the area. If it is Blenheim we give a complimentary pick up. If it is Picton we charge a $30 fee due to it being 30 km's away. This is a once off fee and not per person. Drop off is also included in that price.
On that tour I normally say between 5 and 6 wineries for the day. This allows time for you to enjoy your lunch and your experiences in the wineries.
We take a maximum of 11 people in our van however late September will probably be a bit quieter so possibly 2 - 6 people.
Let me know if you would like to book a tour, with us when you know your exact dates :-)
Kindest regards
Kerry.
