We went here on our last day in New Zealand and walked to Big Rock. Nice escape from the big city of Christchurch and plenty of room to park your motor home.

This is a great place for camping, day picnicking and mountain walks. It is privately owned so an entry fee per car of $10 - so don't be alarmed. Small but lush gardens, plenty of space for kids to run around with a fun mini...More

Recommend driving there over Dyers Pass, then around the harbor to Orton Bradley. Scenic drive only about 45 minutes from the city center. Typical kiwi scenery. Narrow, winding roads, must take your time particularly in winter. After passing through Teddington, the road meanders through a...More

A great place to park a motorhome overnight. Very quiet and peaceful with walks, hikes and streams. Facilities include shower/toilet block, some sites with power. $15 pp and $4 for power. No internet facilities but relax and enjoy the nature.

Awesome spot, Orton Bradley park is really beautifull. We stayed here for one night with a camper van on a powered site. The camp ground was really quiet. The camp kitchen is good and clean. Toilets are ok, lots of fly's when we were there....More

This is a historic spot on Banks Peninsular. You can visit for a few hours or grab a campsite and stay a week. Best of both worlds you have the park with native and exotic tree walks or the beach as well as a nice...More

Been here twice now I think it is my favourite place around Christchurch! Nice place to park in your campervan for the night. Organic milk that you can purchase for the morning coffees and then for a walk in the sun and a look around...More
