Experience the sights and tastes of Wellington on one of our hosted walking gourmet food tours. Your friendly, local Zest guide will stroll with you through our"foodie" capital city, sampling Wellington's famous locally roasted coffee and other gastronomic delights. Meet some of our city's amazing and passionate producers and discover new flavours.

Take in the history, art and culture of our beautifully crafted and compact harbour city. Here at Zest we do believe the best way to experience Wellington and its culture is by strolling and sampling some of the many tasting pleasures on offer.

Zest Food Tours also offers a wine experience in Martinborough, a premium boutique pinot noir wine region and walking foodie tours in Auckland.

We spent a fabulous morning today with the lovely Fabs who was enthusiastic and knowledgable. We visited coffee roasters, a Gelato maker, chocolate makers and a cheese specialist . Everywhere we went we were given wonderful things to taste and gained a real insight into how these foods are produced. I can't recommend this food tour highly enough. Really, really... More

The most enjoyable morning in Wellington and possibly my whole trip through the north island. The guide was Heather and she was as pleasant as you could ask for. Learning about the history of the city combined with many of the new exciting things happening in Wellington was a great combination. My wife and I were fortunate enough to be... More

Today we have just finished a Zest Gourmet Food Tour of Wellington, NZ, in the company of our guide Fiona. Fiona made our day exceptional. This tour is not inexpensive, however in my opinion it was worth every penny. Fiona was knowledgeable about the city, the food, the various areas we visited, the culture and the history. The advertised places... More

Big thanks to Fabs who took our tour group on a very rainy morning in Wellington, but didn't let it put a dampner on things. Great way to get around and see the city and taste some amazing chocolate, fruits, coffee, cheeses and some sinfully delicious gelato. Really recommended :)

I took the Zest tour on a misty morning in March. There was a young couple on the tour and the three of us were introduced to Wellington by our very knowledgeable guide, Fabs. We visited a coffee roaster, gelato maker, chocolatier, gourmet food emporium where we had a cheese tasting, and a bakery/tearoom with the best savory scones. To... More

My daughter Lucy and I did a Zest Food Tour with Fabienne on Saturday morning and had the best time! Starting at Nikau for coffee and brioche, then moving on to the wonderful Wellington Chocolate Factory (where we learnt of their ecological and sustainable cocoa bean sourcing), then on to Moore Wilson for a delicous cheese tasting and, after tasting...
