Love walking along this beach at anytime if the year. Great rock pools and sand beaches so you get the best of all worlds. Walk around the headlands and fossick for shells. Even better as a lot of its beaches don't get really busy.

My favourite beach in Wellington, even on a stormy day. Good swimming beach when the sun is out and the lifesavers out there work hard to keep everyone safe. Wish there was a cafe there though!

Great place to picnic, swim and surf in summer. Many walks around the headland to over see Plimmerton and Mana Island. Shops and eateries local. Easy access to Porirua, Kapiti Coast and Wellington City.
