Cuba St is a notorious hub of activity. With all the building updates and the bustling people its a great place to visit for a bit of shopping followed by some lunch. Its so close together that you don't need to go anywhere else!

It is well worth just walking up and down the street to see what's there before deciding where to shop or eat. There's a pleasant atmosphere and lots of choice in food and shopping. Our favourite is Graphix the comic store.

I love Cuba Street - there are loads of nice bars, cafes and independent shops selling things like records and CDs, vintage clothes, antiques etc.

A great place to shop and eat, but you'll have your eyes opened with the diverse nature of some of the locals, Covent Garden or soho in London have nothing on Cuba St. Lol

Cuba St has a lot of great places to eat, the upper end has a lot of older architecture that is quite interesting, and there are a range of qwerky shops, something a bit different to the main drags - similar to Petone's Jackson St...More

The Cuba Street district is very interesting. It's not as specialised as I thought it would be, I expected there to be dedicated Cuban shops or the like. What I did find was a trail of interesting little plaques that inform the traveler of the...More
