This bridge is as much artwork as functional bridge. It is covered in Maori artwork and is a joy to see. If you are walking in the area you may need to cross the bridge. Take the time to look at the bridge itself.

Beautiful artistic sculpture. It reflects on the Maori's identity and beliefs. I totally love the texture of the wood used and shape with carving details with amazement.

Really enjoyed the walk across this bridge, met a few people along the way - great areas to sit quietly and read or rest as well. Great for photo opportunities....

This bridge is not pretty nor fancy, but I liked it since it looked very unique. It is a link between city centre to waterfront.

This wooden (strange) ‘art’ bridge is the link between the city (civic centre) and the waterfront. In fact it’s just a bridge.
