We caught the centre just as it was closing but were given the information we needed with plenty of options. Would have liked to spend longer in there.

Arriving in Wellington we walked to the I-Site centre. Asked what to do and was pointed to a desk and wall with details. We had arranged for a hop on hop off bus tour and when asked where the bus stops we were told walk up the street and you will find it.

New Zealand i-SITE visitor information centres are worth a visit in any region as they generally have loads of information and local staff who can give you some useful tips without feeling like you have been pressured into buying something you don't really need and the Wellington i-SITE is no different. The staff were helpful without being pushy and every... More

Dropped in here to find directions to an area. Only a brief wait to be served. The guy that helped us was very friendly. He googled areas and showed us maps and gave us info about local buses. He had a good sense of humour too.

One of the must stop places when you visit Wellington. They offer lots of information and assistance and there are tours to be booked and they will even help you to book accommodation that will suit your budget. Stop here at the start of your Wellington trip and you won't go too wrong.

The iSites are really the first thing that you should fine when coming into a new city in NZ. The staff are super helpful and can make recommendations on things/trips to do and will help you set everything up.

The i-site itself was clean and airy and the staff were helpful - but it took such a long time to find! On foot, the signs in the city point you towards the waterfront and no further.
