Sidecar Taxi and Tours is a unique way to see Wellington. I have a Triumph Bonneville with a classic sidecar so I can take two passengers at once. The tour from the Cable car involves a scenic route around Kelburn to Northland lookout, which has stunning views that an ordinary bus cannot access. I am able to pick you up from any location around the city and tours can be customised to suit.

If you're new to Wellington I recommend you take a cable car to the top and jump straight on Mark's 1 hour tour, you'll get a great rundown of Wellington's landmarks and history, from someone who clearly has an enormous wealth of knowledge about the area. Friendly and plenty of little known tidbits. Very interesting and entertaining hour trip. Great bike, felt safe and fast! I would recommend this to everyone. Especially if you want to see a bit of Wellington quickly without having to walk everywhere!

Best city tour ever!
I have travelled all around the world and this is the best city tour I have ever taken! Riding in a sidecar was great fun and a rare opportunity, it allows those unsure of riding on two wheels a greater sense of security while still providing the sense of freedom that motorcycles provide. Bring your camera, the guide provides a helmet. The guide was knowledgeable and told stories that don't make it into the travel journals.
