This was an excellent place to visit. The people complaining about the prices of the glass items need to understand this is art and is probably not sold to your average person anyway, but the fact you get to look at it up close is pretty special. It is likely sold to corporates and governments around the world who are looking for a special piece for their auditorium, museum, atrium, garden or reception etc. Enjoyed seeing the glass blowing and walking through the sculpture garden. The combined price of $20 per adult (instead of $25 if you bought separately) was good. Some of the items in the garden needed cleaning and have faded a little. But the glass sculptures for sale inside were stunning and there is no pressure to buy anything. Didn't stop at the cafe. Plenty of parking.

We dropped in to look round the shop. The items are incredible
We purchased 3 starry night vases that are being shipped to the UK
The ladies in the store were so helpful no pushy forced sales at all
They spent time with us they got various pieces out for us to look at. When we couldn’t decide they gave us free entry to gardens to wander around clear our heads and when we came back in to look at the couple of vases again! Which then ended up as 3 😂
They said to come back Sunday to watch Chris doing glass blowing demonstration. Which we did that was great to see and then chatted to Chris at the end
And somehow we seem to have bought a 4 th item to add to the shipment 🤦♀️
Although we didn’t eat in the cafe the food coming out looked great and they made me a perfect coffee

This place is in the country and worth a visit.
Hands-on glass sculptures for sale of all sizes and shapes. I bought the most beautiful glass flower.
Staff are very helpful.
The items are made on site, and you can watch the items being made.
Walk through to the little cafe and sit outside in the sun. Salmon eggs Benedict was excellent.
Next door, there is a gate, and a separate fee is required to walk around the sculpture gardens.
This is lovely on a sunny day. If you just want to spend a couple of hours at this venue for time out, you won't be disappointed.

We did the behind the scenes viewing tour to watch as lava glass is blown/made. Was fascinating to see first hand. Then did a leisurely walk through the lava glass garden. Totally worth it as something informative, interesting and a way of varying up the routine of non-geothermal activities.

I had ventured out to Lava Glass to view the glass art garden which was a beautiful and unique experience in spite of being in need of a spring clean. I was very glad I made the impromptu decision to view the glass blowing session as I enjoyed this even more. The shop which is free to enter is also very impressive with a multitude of stunning works and well worth the trip to see.

A nice cottage like glass outlet and glass scultures maker. Beautiful glass scultures and glassware souvenirs The demonstration and explanation on the glass sculturing is interesting. There is also a cafe within the shop. An eye openers and a nice stop over meeting nice and friendly people.

Expensive for what it is. Very nice glass works but quick to walk around. They all need some limescale remover or similar on them, need a good polish as looking shabby now. Very busy as a tour bus in. Did not watch the glass blowing for an extra cost as others had said he just has his back to you as he is concentrating so fair enough. Did visit the cafe and we had the keto wrap which came with a small salad. It was amazing and filled us for all day, nice coffee too. Pleasant enough break on our journey but not worth a special visit unless you are going for lunch.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Ange! We're glad you enjoyed the glass works and the keto wrap from our cafe, and we appreciate your comments on the experience. We're sorry to hear that some of the glass sculptures weren't as polished as you'd hoped - your suggestion about cleaning is noted, and we'll look into it.
Just to mention, even though the glass artist may not always face the visitors, we have a camera aimed at the artist's hands that live streams the action to a screen above, so everyone can still enjoy the process up close.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again, perhaps for another delicious meal.

So glad we stopped along the way. We found this place quite by accident in all the reading we did.
We had an amazing lunch then a beautiful wonder in a garden full of beautiful glass pieces you just won’t believe.
A very talented artist indeed. The showroom is wonderful.

A marvellous discovery, a shop, a garden and a café dedicated to the art of glass, all in full respect of Nature. You can sense that each object is inspired by communion and love of nature. It gave me moments of joy that I decided to pass on to a friend with a precious vase, as precious as our friendship. The staff is very helpful and kind.

Beautiful hand blown glass pieces, felt it was a little bit of an ask to have to pay to watch the glass blowing process. Have been to see several glass blowers in Australia and never been asked to pay to watch them, I feel like when you watch them work you're involved in the process and can really appreciate how much work and love goes into each piece. Would have loved to have some spare $$ to buy a bigger piece .
