Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went with a group of 7, some had never ridden a quad bike , and some of us had . We all had a great time on the bikes .Everyone can go at their own pace and still have a ball. Just a shame some Young Drunk guys tried to gain entry to the Attraction and caused a Big Scene, But not the fault of the business owners, , they can not have Drunk people spoiling everyone else's fun and did well to make sure they didn't disrupt us .
Thanks Team

First time on a Quad . Absolutely brilliant . This is not a gentle ride through a farm behind an instructor , its exhilarating and adrenaline filled . Like anything if you`ve not done it before first 15 mins maybe a bit nervy . Pete and Jen are great hosts , I highly recommend giving it a go and much better value for money than karting !! ( My 15 year old found the smaller Quad a lot easier to handle when he switched , he had a great time )

This is a super outdoor activity. Peter and Jen are good hosts. I ended up being a passenger rather than a rider as I felt completely out of my depth even on the learning track (which has some steep and bumpy parts) the track then goes through farmland and bush, it’s full of adrenaline! Everyone in the group we were with had a great time.

Not for beginners. And we were just that. I guess we were done by the “Anyone is able to ride- No experience necessary as full training and tuition is given before trip commences” bit on their webpage. The “full training and tuition” was just a cursory 5mins briefing by guy in the charge sitting in a quad telling us about the controls as we all stood around him. After that you get on your quads and start riding the tracks. No time to drive around on a flat, even surface and get used to the controls. The first kilometer or so is supposed to be a test run on the “easy” track. I wouldn’t call it easy. Especially if you are in your first minute of your first ever quad ride. It’s gravel, it’s not even, it’s not flat, uphill, downhill with bends. Then came the main track. I think even some of the experienced guys would have struggled with that. Me, I completed it. In my “let’s not die today” speeds. We did it on a clear, dry day. I can’t imagine the carnage had it been on a rainy day.

Be aware of the very narrow track that goes up and down A LOT. Lots of bumps in the road, not flat AT ALL. Looks more like a track for advanced riders not beginners. Even though I’ve been quad biking before this was far too dangerous! After nearly 1km into the track I accidentally turned to the edge a bit and the bike fell onto my leg. The guide didn’t even asked if I was ok only complaint about how I explained the situation (English is my second language and I would explain it like this in my language) and how it all was my fault. It was my fault I know but this all happened because of the BAD track conditions. I felt very upset about the way he handled the accident no respect, racist and only blaming me. Next time check upon the person first if she/he’s ok you can’t always ‘see’ if someone is hurt.
$250 wasted. Never again.

Had a fantastic morning doing the 1hr quad bike. Neither myself or my two teen boys have ever quad biked or motorbiked before..we were all kitted out in wet weather gear (thankyou very much - so needed as the rain was a touch damp 😉). We were shown how to drive the quads well. The track was great lots of hills and bumps and enough corners to make it fun...plus great bush are..challenging enough to be fun, but equally great for complete newbies like ourselves, the rain and mud added to the fun, and when one of the boys overtook a corner a wee bit was helped to get back on thack and going again. Thanks for such a great day.👍🏼👍🏼

My family visited this place for a quad bike adventure. My daughter struggled to control her bike, 10 minutes into her ride the bike rolled shattering her ankle in three places. They operator had no basics health and safety at all, not even a thermal blanke or Panadol, we had to call an ambulance and get her to hospital. His response was to tell us he was sending us a $1500 bill for the work safe review he would need to do. We got her to Taupo hospital where they exrayed her and found three breaks requiring surgery. We had to drive her back home to Hawke’s Bay in agony where she spent the next two weeks in hospital as her swelling was so bad they could not operate. I left a review via google saying as much and we were all happy to leave it there and move on with our lives. But this scum has responded to that feedback calling me a liar stating that my daughter was uninjured. We are now following up with work safe, the commerce commission and legal action. We didn’t want anything, not even an apology, but to take zero responsibility and then call us liars... this guy needs to be shut down before someone is killed

Excellent fun . Tracks were challenging but Peter catered for all levels very well and allowed everyone to enjoy it. My 12 year old daughter and I decided to stop at an hour and allow my husband and 15 year old son the chance to continue as they were a lot more experienced than us. Peter was totally fine with this and we had a lovely time riding in the side by side with him as we followed the boys. Highly recommended.
